It was a wonderful cozy environment! Very clean, and welcoming. We especially loved the wood stove, It kept us toasty all night. We definitely plan on visiting again. Thank you for a wonder birthday weekend.
This is a beautiful and cozy place to stay, especially once you get the wood stove going—it really makes the space feel warm and inviting.A few small suggestions that could make the experience even better: it would be helpful to have a bit more fire starter provided based on the length of stay (we only had one for four nights). It would also be a nice touch to include some basic cooking staples like salt, pepper, and maybe powdered creamer and sugar for coffee. One thing to be aware of is that sound does travel quite easily in the dome, so we could hear some noise from neighboring guests at times, including conversations and dogs during the night.Overall though, the property itself is beautiful and has a really peaceful, cozy feel. It’s a great place to unplug and relax while still being close enough to everything we wanted to explore, making the drives very manageable.
Such a cool space! Set right in the heart of Humboldt's famous redwoods, but only a quick drive to town (Fieldbrook, Blue Lake especially) and SUPER peaceful. We had plenty of floor space for my bestie to set up an air mattress as well. Hosts were super friendly and accommodating - would love to come back again sometime soon!
We had a great time staying at the gnome dome. The surrounding area is beautiful as the dome is surrounded by trees. The electric heater being included is great as it does take a bit of time to start the wood fire. Our only gripe was that we weren’t able to find any coffee for the coffee maker. Aside from that, we would definitely recommend this Vrbo!
It was a cool experience. Didn't mind the dogs next door barking or the loud neighbors out late, The lock on the door didn't work (hopefully that gets fixed) wasn't a huge deal for us but we are semi local. Would definitely book again.
Peaceful. Space is well appointed and large. Bed is super warm and comfy.

I loved staying at the gnome dome. It was clean, it had very good instructions on how to use equipment, and it is a fun atmosphere. I was only there for one night but it would have been fun to stay longer!
There was a whole in the dome by the front door. Wasnt able to get the remotes to the light to work. Windows where dirty. Thought it was going to be more private but dogs barked all night and woke up to someone yelling. It was hard to find. Overall it was ok. Thought with no t.v. and stuff it would be more private and be able to see through the windows. No lock on the door.

Hi Will, Im so sorry to hear your time at the dome wasn't what you were hoping for. I just sent you over a 50% refund. You're right, the outside of the windows hadn't been cleaned in a while with it being winter and the off season for glamping. I apologize that the sounds of the neighbor hood disrupted your sleep. I do try my best to be transparent about the surroundings of the dome upon booking and that it is in a community on shared property with neighbors and not isolated. I did also share upon booking that the dome does not lock. All that aside I apologize that you felt disappointed in your stay and hope the partial refund feels fair to you.
What a wonderful escape from our busy lives. Such a unique experience. Everything was well labeled. Directions were clear. Such thought was given to all the furnishings. Very comfortable bed. Wood stove kept us toasty warm.
Hosts were so kind and communicative. This space is nothing short of authentic and intentional magic - you can feel the care they’ve put into each detail. The view of trees on the property was especially beautiful and we enjoyed how much of a “home” feel there was to the place. Thank you for sharing your space and helping us to create magical memories!
Overall everything was fine. It was just a struggle turning into the correct driveway. There were two driveways listed at 2001 and we took the first one and got our vehicle stuck on the steep drive not knowing the correct address was on the second drive that said 2001. We survived, just would have saved a lot of hassle and family fighting if we'd have known.
