Everything was perfect, beautiful property and the cabin was comfy, clean and cozy. It had everything we needed. Kelly is very helpful for anything that comes up. We will be back!
We had a short stay but everything @ The Red Cabin on Long Lake was perfect. Owners were very prompted with information and answering any question. Will Stay Again!
The property was great, just what we needed for my granddaughter and her friends. They enjoyed the lake and dock area for swimming and hanging out. Kelly and Zach were very receptive, available and helpful for issues that arose. I highly recommend this property!!
The cabin is very clean with modern fixtures for the kitchen and bathrooms. It is a two-car garage converted to a two-story cabin, but the work was very well done. The kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, dishes, etc. - better than other cabins we have rented. It included a keurig style coffee maker with quite a few k-cups of different flavors to choose from. The cabin sits on a large lot with a level stretch of grass between it and the lake. Our stay only was for my wife and I, but the grassy area can provide ample room for yard games for a family. The lot has its own dock and two boat ramps, one for a smaller boat and the other for a larger one. The dock also has a bench where a couple of people can sit to watch the waves or fish.
Everything was as stated in the post. House & scenery were beautiful. Very clean accommodations. There are many steps (10-15) to get up to the bedroom (not stated in post). For us that wasn't a problem but for other people it might be. The kitchen is downstairs. In the pictures, the two garage doors is where the kitchen, dining & one of the living rooms (other upstairs with bedroom) are. There is a lot of room (open spaces) at this property. There are smart TV's but no way to connect to the internet. There is no Wi-Fi at this property, at this time. There were 5 antenna channels on the TV; mostly old programs. There is one bag game for outside. There were no board games or cards, make sure you take some with you. We didn't use the firepit but Kelly supplied plenty of firewood if we choose to do so. The parking area is huge so there is a lot of room to park a truck & trailer. Very quiet neighborhood. We saw maybe 1-2 people the whole time we were there . Lake is beautiful; one morning we saw 6 pelicans & 3 babies passing by. Communication with the owner was good. Any questions we had Kelly answered quickly. Overall was a good stay. Recommend to anyone who wants to get away from the hustle & bustle of life & disconnect. This would be the perfect spot!
A very pleasant experience staying at this property. It was fun experiencing a place where I grew up. The peaceful vibe heals! We would highly recommend for anyone searching for a laid back environment.
