Old lock house of the 19th century with all the amenities you need. Modern tv, Wi-Fi, fully equipped kitchen.
One double bedroom with bathroom (shower) ensuite. Two rooms with each to single beds. A separate bathroom (shower) with toilet. In the winter you can enjoy the fireplace.
The house is situated close to the most important castles of the Loire area. Chateau Chenonceau is 20 minutes away. Chateau Chambord 40 minuten. The historic towns of Blois, Amboise and Tours are 35 minutes away. The most famous zoo of France, zoo de Beauval is a 15 minutes drive.

Why they chose this property

Since my wife is French it was an easy choice to move to this lovely area.

What makes this property unique

The house is an old lock house that is situated 20 meters from the river Cher. It is split in two separate house, one we live in and one we rent. All the Loire area castles are in the area. The most beautiful zoo of French is in Saint Aignan which is only 15 minutes away. The house itself has free parking just in front and is without traffic. It is a dead end. The closest neighbors are living at 1 kilometer distance, so it is really calm.
