Hello and thanks for your kind remarks about our condo. We recently upgraded it and you were the second reservation to enjoy it. I also want to address your perception about lack of amenities as a public service as some may be misinformed. The Bella Sirena Resort has the highest density when it comes to common areas than any other resort on Sandy Beach. Most resorts are composed of a few buildings and a pool area. This resort offers plenty of space to walk and jog. It has a fully-equipped gym. It has four pools and hot tubs throughout the property. There are plenty of grassy areas for children to play. In fact, since we also own Rocky Point Travel (a vacation rental agency), this resort is chosen by families with children more than any other resort. There is also a poolside restaurant on site. In fact, I was dining there when I saw you walk by it. Perhaps you didn't notice it. There are also plenty of restaurants on Sandy Beach (Mare Blu, Citron, La Maria, Cielito Lindo, and many others), and they're just a minute or two away. Bear in mind this is a private resort owned by hundreds of owners like me and we want to find the perfect balance and not be overly commercialized. Again, I appreciate your comments but wanted to offer this response in order to inform prospective renters that this is indeed a family-friendly resort with sensible rules to preserve the peace and harmony which are so necessary for a memorable vacation.

I find it interesting that the guests never contacted me once with any complaint throughout the entire stay even though they had several ways to do so. We sent them a welcome package via VRBO and also there is manual which include check-in and check-out procedures. The check-in list states if there are any problems to contact us immediately. They did not. What I do know by looking at the door code log is that they arrived almost 2 hours early while the cleaning crew was still cleaning and washing/drying towels and sheets as there were guests who checked out that morning. The cleaning crew felt pressured and tried to accommodate them as promptly as possible even though we clearly state the check in time is 4:00 PM. The guest comments about the room not being ready are not true. They arrived prematurely. Check out is at 11:00 AM and the cleaning staff needs ample time to leave the entire condo ready. Let's begin with that. I also included instructions on how to use the door lock. Obviously the guests did not read it and I could have helped them had they contacted me. You have to enter the code, wait a second and then turn the knob. Also, had they read the instructions provided, they would have found the switch for the ceiling fan is behind the headboard. It is imperative that guests contact us upon arrival (or throughout the stay) if there are any problems. For anyone reading this, posting a negative review without giving us a chance to remedy the situation is not the best course of action. We want to make sure everyone enjoys their stay to the fullest and we are here to help.

Hi Daniel. We contacted you on the first morning of your stay to let you know we had changed the thermostat to heat as the weather had changed unexpectedly. Sorry you were cold the first night.
