This memorable apartment is the perfect home base for your trip to Chicago. With 3 bedrooms, including 1 king bed, 1 queen bed , and 3 twin beds. It comfortably accommodates guests. Extra large table the seats 10. The bathroom features a bathtub and shower and a hair dryer for your convenience. You'll find terrific amenities such as coin laundry, AC, clothes steamer, heating, and WiFi. The property offers a peaceful atmosphere, allowing you to unwind after a day of exploring the city. We look forward to hosting you at our place. No pets allowed. Small events allowed but only by pre approval and extra fee(Please message before booking for an event). Small parties or events must be approved prior to stay by host. There is 2 separate units in the building on sperate floors with identical layout. You will be placed in either one of the units depending on other bookings during your dates.

Gather used towels
Turn off the lights
Sweep the entire unit pick up trash. Tie up trash and leave bags in the kitchen.  Wash all the dishes you used and leave in the sink to dry. Put all used towels  in the closet hamper.
When leaving, leave the keys on the dining room table and lock the bottom lock and bottom lock to the building.  Safe travels home. Bye for now.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Maintenance issues

The host, Stephaine, was very communicative and made sure our stay was acceptable. She did let us know that there were A/C issues with the original house so she switched us to a house with more rooms and bathrooms which was a plus for us! The area we stayed in was quiet and have a lot of stores and restaurants nearby, had a lot of culture. Definitely would return to Chicago, loved it there!

The power was out in the area due to downed powerlines which is something we have no control over. After being on the phone with comed for an hour I let the guest know she could get a refund if she wanted because I didnt know how long it would take for the power to come back on. She asked for a refund after comed said it would take over night fix. I allowed her even tho she had been refunded to stay till she found a new place. She stayed overnight her and her guests for free until the next day evening. She messaged me the next day evening saying she was leaving and had found a place. When I went to check the unit that day 30 minutes after she left the power was on. I don't know if the power had been restored before she left. She should be grateful I let them stay and not told them to leave especially since she already had received a full refund. Yes it is an inconvenience but chicago has many reasonable places to stay. She could have easily found a place and not stayed almost 2 days for free.
