Very spacious, beautiful property! Close proximity to downtown Woodstock and only a 30 min ride to Killington. Ayesha was very communicative with any questions we had. Highly recommend!

Hi Josh,
Thank you for your kind response.
You, your family and friends were great guests. We had no issues and would have you stay at our place again.
We enjoyed our stay and the home was as expected and clean. Surprised by the amenities in the kitchen including dishes pots and pans all available. You do need to bring towels but all linens were clean and neat. There is a lake on property which was iced over this time of year but I’m sure is beautiful in spring.Has plenty of room and Would go again
Relaxing & spacious property for a weekend getaway
We booked this property for a ski weekend with friends and family. It exceeded our expectations in regards to communal spaces for games & quality time. There were very roomy living areas and comfortable furniture to lounge in after a day on the slopes. The host and property managers were all very responsive when we had questions, and the property managers stayed on top of plowing the driveway even though we didn’t have much snow over the weekend. The only thing that could have been improved upon were amenities - there were no paper towels, limited cookware, and limited cleaning supplies. In addition, some of the bathrooms didn’t have shower supplies (which is fine if you plan on bringing your own). Overall, we enjoyed our weekend, and appreciated the host’s time and attentiveness to our stay!
First all the good stuff. House is huge and comfortable. Our group of 8 had a great time. The ponds and surrounding foliage were picture perfect. You don't even have to drive anywhere to see the foliage.
There is some room for improvement. Some rooms are sparsely appointed, no chests, end tables or desk.
Owner initially canceled the reservation but then worked with me to allow us to stay but one less day so we had to find accomodations for 1 night which was very expensive during peak fall foliage. It was still worth staying at this house.
There were also some odd issues. We got locked out as someone in the party had locked the latch from inside so keypad was rendered useless. The manager drove in at 11pm and unlocked the door. While he was there, he found out why hot water was not hot - someone had switched off the water heater. There is a Red switch in the mud room. Why would you have a switch there? Owner should put some signs to avoid these issues.

Thank you for your feedback.
As I had mentioned in our correspondence the dates had to be adjusted due to a medical emergency which made it difficult for us to get the place cleaned in a timely and safe manner. This was unfortunately an unforeseen circumstance and given COVID-19 protocols we wanted our place to be safe for you and the next guest booking in.
We really appreciated your understanding and being accommodating.
We have duly noted the lack of side tables, this is a new place for us and our furniture shipment has been delayed. As you must have noticed all the furnishings are high end and good quality and we have chosen to wait for our shipment rather than furnish with lesser quality pieces.
Regarding the red switch for the water heater, we will put a sign next to it so that no one accidentally turns it off. This is the first time this has happened even though we have had other guests stay at our place.
We appreciate all your feedback and the review was very constructive.
Happy to host your group again.
Regards,
A

Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
Decent property, but very poor experience
The property itself was decently nice. Very large space and quiet.
There were a bunch of minor issues, that my group and I mostly just let go since this was supposed to be a budget property. However - lesson learned. If you don't go out of your way to resolve or get these issues resolved, the host will find you responsible.
- When we checked in, we found that there were chairs were broken and the property managers were super slow to respond (responded 14 hours later)
- Property managers said they'll come by to fix chairs but never showed up
- As a result, we stopped communicating other problems since they seemed ignored - which we were later blamed for, for not escalating and following up enough
- House was not properly cleaned before we arrived. We spent extra time ourselves cleaning - and was then blamed for leaving the house excessively dirty
- Many flies and bugs flying around the first 2 nights : I'm guessing from the improper cleaning
- Was warned by host that cleaners would arrive right at check out time. We left some trash outside the bin since it wouldn't fit about 10 minutes before checkout time, and left the property, and then was blamed for leaving it outside, saying animals got to it and made a mess all over the property.
- Many outlets without covers and exposed wires (better be careful if you have kids)
- Insufficient cleaning supplies (like dishsoap)
- Driveway not properly de-iced
Most of these issues were not huge issues in themselves, but our experience soured when the host blamed our group for the condition of the property, even though we left it better than when we arrived. Suggestion to the host : maybe you should look into seeking responsibility with the property managers or cleaners instead of our group.

Hi,
Thanks for the update. I spoke with the property managers and someone came to the house but no one answered the door.
As I had mentioned we have cleaners that have worked with us and also work at other Airbnb properties and we have never received a complaint. This is the first time.
If there were issues you could have escalated the concerns with us the property owners as we are very responsive and want to make the stay as comfortable as possible. In fact we had been in communication frequently prior to your arrival.
We had sent over checkout instructions which said explicitly to leave all garbage in the containers in the garage. Not outside as it is very rural and there are many wild animals around.
We have only charged you exactly what the damages were incurred during your stay. Our cleaners send us picture’s immediately once they arrive and the party before you had not caused this.
We are sorry to hear your stay was not what you expected however it was not what we expected either.
Regards.
This house and property were amazing for our family for the fourth of July! The grounds are stunning with lush green acres, 2 ponds, and tons of space. Would definitely stay here again!
We had a great time staying here! The house suited our needs, with plenty of room for our young kids to run around the house getting their energy out! There were quality furniture, warm blankets, and all the necessities provided. The Vast property is beautiful with tons of snow for the kids to roll around in! It is a 30-40 minute drive to the slopes. Snow mobiling was a nearby activity that was fun for us!
The owner and property manager are very responsive.
