About this property

Cozy Cardiff Home by the Beach [yard work occurring November 17-20. See desc.]

If booking November 17-20: please be aware that extensive yard work will occur during these dates, including an industrial dumpster stored in driveway which will limit driveway parking.

Work will be from 7:30-4:30 every day, and will include an excavator being used some days.

All work is in front and side-yard, nothing inside or in back yard.

This 3-bedroom house offers an enjoyable stay for guests. With 2 queen beds and 2 twin bed, up to six people will have a comfortable place to rest. The property features amenities like washer/dryer, big private backyard space, and a full kitchen. The 2 full bathrooms are stocked with towels and shampoo/soap. It's easy to see why you'll be able to unwind at our place.


My favorite spots include Cardiff Reef Beach, San Elijo Ecological Reserve hiking trail, Moonlight Beach, Botanic Gardens, and that’s just within a mile or two!

A quick drive gets you to Legoland, SeaWorld, San Diego Zoo and Safari Park. Even Disneyland is doable for a day trip.

Food-wise, Pipes Cafe and El Pueblo Mexican food (24hrs) will have you feeling like a local in no time.

Cozy, comfy, and close to beaches!

The house is in a cute, safe neighborhood. The patio seating was the most comfortable I've ever sat on, which was great for enjoying the amazing weather every morning and evening. The boys enjoyed the basketball hoop, and the large sectional sofa in the living room was perfect for our movie night. The kitchen isn't big so some maneuvering is needed if more than 1 is trying to be in there, but the house was stocked up with plenty of supplies for us to cook several meals there. The beds were comfortable too. The house is literally 5 mins away from a grocery store and all kinds of food places. It was so easy to get to the beach from the house, too. All in all, a perfect place for our little summer getaway - would definitely rent again. Johnny is really great and responded to all of my messages super quickly.
We're from Phoenix so 60-ish degrees feels very cold! Enjoyed morning coffee each day on the patio on the super comfortable outdoor sectional.

This was our second stay at the property within a couple of months and it is perfectly comfortable and easy to navigate. We have two dogs and the dogs love the yard. We would stay here again!
