the house was located midpoint on Seneca lake. A perfect location to use as a base to visit the entire area in an hour radius. Plenty to do for an entire week at museums, vineyards, restaurants and most important fabulous scenery. The house was as expected of a vacation lake home. A front porch provided an elevated view over the lake. House was fully furnished for a week's stay. Kitchen was fine and used outdoor grille.

Beautiful Location

We had a lovely time at Plum Point Villa and the hosts Jared and Melanie could not have been nicer. Not only were they responsive they were also proactive with information that they thought would be helpful to us. We highly recommend this property.

May 2025 Getaway

Plum Point Villa was the perfect first time getaway to Seneca Lake. Our hosts were very accommodating and quick with responses. They truly wanted us to have a perfect stay.The home was very clean, well stocked and had an amazing view. Having a boat launch on site was so convenient. We would recommend Plum Point to everyone.We plan on definitely coming back.

2024 Mom's Vacation

My sisters and I had a wonderful relaxing Mom's Day week on Seneca Lake. The scenery was beautiful and we loved our daily sightseeing trips arround the lakes.

Girls trip 2022 was a fantastic time because of this property. Sleeping accommodations were perfect for 8 women , the view was amazing, and the location perfect for touring ! The owners were great to deal with. I highly recommend this property!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing! The house met the needs of all 6 ladies and had an amazing view. We loved sitting on the deck at night or down by the water while enjoying each other’s company. We would definitely rent again!!

The house worked very well for a base for wine tastings. Driveway is a bit of a challenge (my husband had to back my sister's car down) House very comfortable

Cute home in great location!

Cute place for small group! Conveniently located right on the water in the middle of the west side wine trail. Great view of lake and sunrise/sunset from living room or deck. Also 20 steps away from a water front bar that had live music and was lively into the AM which is perfect if you are looking for somewhere to go after a day of touring wineries since Uber/Lyfts are very hard to come by.

Great lake view and location.

We were 2 couples out for a relaxing getaway and to experience the wine trail around Seneca lake and we were no disappointed. The house was as described and fit our needs perfectly. The description of the driveway parking is not exaggerated...it's a little hairy backing down. Owners were easy to work with and left a nice bottle of Riesling for our enjoyment...nice touch. Thanks for opening your home for us to enjoy.

Wonderful family vacation

We throughly enjoyed our stay. The view was gorgeous. The house was well appointed. It had everything we needed. It was an older home that had no AC in the main part of the house. Luckily it wasn’t to hot and we had a nice breeze while we were there. As stated in other reviews the house is not good for anyone that has trouble walking but we had a lovely time.

Girlfriend Getaway

Perfect place to gather. Accommodations were just as promised. We slept comfortably and enjoyed the view, dock, fire pit & location. We recommend & would return! There is a steep driveway, steps & walking involved. So happy knees & feet a plus. There is one bedroom on the first floor and a full bathroom not requiring inside steps. Enjoyed our getaway! Seneca Lake & all its beauty a gift & blessing to behold.

Great Place

I am happy during this time of COVID that our plans changed ~ because we found this great house! Each year we come out to the Finger Lakes for a mother-daughter weekend. We normally stay at a hotel, but this year we decided to get a house. Melanie and Jared were absolutely wonderful and very responsive to any questions I had. There were 8 of us staying here - the house was comfortable and it had what we needed. It was clean, beds were comfortable and the view off the deck of the house was a great way to start and end the day. We’ve decided that this will be our go-to place each year when we return! Thank you!
