Checked in to our condo and there was someone already in our unit.....then we were sent to another part of the complex but it only had 1 bedroom. We ordered a 2 bedroom. We had a dinner reservation with our daughter and had to leave but I called the host to let them know we were in the wrong unit. Then he called back and said that someone actually was checking into the one bedroom while we were eating dinner ...total disaster. We had all of our personal belongings in there....I wouldn't not use this host or complex ever again. This is the worst experience I have ever had using VRBO....

Unfortunately, my experience was VERY disappointing. The condo I originally booked had an occupant already in it when we used our code to access it--imagine walking into a rental only to hear a man's voice inside. That alone was a red flag, as it indicated that codes are not changed with new tenants. While he did provide an alternative property, it lacked several of the key amenities that led me to book the original rental in the first place. One of the most important was that of stable internet--we were unable to access it consistently, making it impossible to get any work done while there.I tried to work with the host after the trip to request a minimal refund of the fees due to the change, but he refused. I understand that mistakes happen, but customer service and accountability are key—especially when plans are disrupted due to no fault of the guest. I wouldn’t book with this host again.
