About this property

A little piece of heaven, set amongst stunning scenery of mountain and sea view

This rustic property has a warm & friendly atmosphere, situated on a ridge at the eastern edge of the picturesque village of Perinaldo with lovely walks on the doorstep. An oasis of calm, perfect if you are looking for pure relaxation. Within walking distance of the historical centre, 25 minutes drive to the sea , 60-90 minute drive to Nice.
The large open plan of kitchen, dining & living area is spacious and airy. Two separate staircases, set at opposite sides of this room lead to the bedrooms. From the living room end the staircase leads to the masterbedroom and ensuite bathroom with shower, sink & w.c. From the kitchen side you reach the mezzanine bedroom with twin beds & ensuite bathroom with bathtub with shower, sink & w.c.
All windows & doors are fitted with mosquito netting.
There are 3 separate terraced areas around the house that have tables & garden furniture, so that you can be in the sun or shade.
A separate little alcove room on the lower terrace has a washing machine and clothes line nearby.
The house has internet & wi fi can reach the outside areas .
The 2 acre property overlooks the Maritime Alps to the North and the Mediterranean sea to the south. Half of the land is fenced in and is ideal for children and pets. The top of the property has a wonderful 360 degree view and there is a bench here to truly enjoy the view.
There is ample parking on the property.
During the summer months Perinaldo hosts many musical festivals performed in the historical centre or the churches. The local bar has weekly musical evenings to entertain you as you enjoy your happy hour.
There is a very good small playground area for children under large shady trees.
Perinaldo has a pharmacy, local doctor, post office with ATM machine, hardware store and grocery store.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus in sehr ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem wunderschönen Ferienhaus sehr genossen. Es liegt ganz am Ortsrand von Perinaldo. Wenn man Ruhe und Erholung abseits vom Trubel an den Stränden sucht ist man dort genau richtig und ausser den Grillen am Abend

Wunderbares Haus mitten in den Bergen

Wir hatten einen wirklich wunderbaren Aufenthalt. Alles ist wirklich sehr schön und gepflegt. Der Gastgeber ist sehr herzlich und beantwortet Fragen vor und während dem Aufenthalts immer sehr zeitnah. Das Haus macht den Anschein als wenn der Besitzer gerade die Tür raus ist. Es ist alles vorhanden und liebevoll eingerichtet. Wer die Natur und die Ruhe liebt findet hier ein kleines Paradis. Klare Empfehlung genau hierher zu kommen.

Schönes Ferienhaus in traumhafter Lage

Ein sehr schönes Ferienhaus in einer traumhaften Lage. Wer Ruhe und Erholung sucht, ist dort richtig und auch das Haus betreffend war alles zu unserer vollsten Zufriedenheit. Zum Meer fährt man etwa 25 - 30 Minuten die kurvenreichen Straßen hinunter, das sollte man mit einkalkulieren. Wir geben 5 Sterne und empfehlen das Haus bedenkenlos weiter!

Sehr schönes und sauberes Haus

Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber vor der Anreise war sehr herzlich und ausführlich. Alles organisatorische hat sehr gut geklappt! Bitte, bei der Anreise auf jeden Fall die sehr ausführliche Beschreibung des Gastgeber nutzen! Das Haus selber, mit Grundstück vollständig eingezäunt ist wirklich sehr schön, sehr ruhig gelegen und entspricht total den Bildern. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden und können den Gastgeber/in und das Haus sehr empfehlen.

Quiet location and fabulous views

The house was lovely with everything we needed. Wonderful views of the mountains - such a peaceful setting to just sit and stare at the view with a glass of wine and bowl of olives. The owner was exceptionally helpful in response to my various questions. My top tip - get the smallest car possible, those roads are narrow. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Rückzugsort mit überwältigenden Ausblicken

Ein Ferienhaus mit viel Liebe zum Detail, stilsicher und gleichzeitig gemütlich eingerichtet. Eine Lage, die uns von Anfang an sprachlos gemacht hat, mit Blick auf Berge, Täler, Dörfer und sogar das Meer. Perinaldo mit seinen engen, dunklen, geheimnisvollen Gassen, die immer wieder Aussichten in die Ferne erlauben und in deren Labyrinth man sich gerne eine Weile verlieren möchte. Der Kontakt mit der Vermieterin und der Verwalterin war unkompliziert und sehr herzlich. Trotz der Kürze des Urlaubs bleibt er sicher unvergesslich! Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Eine stille Oase zwischen Bergen und Meer

Wir haben eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem fantastisch gelegenen Haus verlebt. Man wohnt auf dem Berggipfel mit herrlichem Blick auf die Seealpen und zur anderen Seite hin aufs Meer. Das Haus ist liebevoll und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Wir haben es tiptop sauber vorgefunden. Mit einem kleinen Willkommensgeschenk und einer Küche, die mit allem ausgestattet wa, was man zum Kochen braucht haben wir uns von der ersten Minute an wohlgefühlt. Es sind die vielen kleinen Dinge, die alle da waren (Gewürze, Öl, Kaffee, Mülltüten, Toilettenpapier, Spül und Putzmittel...), die einem das Gefühl geben willkommen und fast zu Hause zu sein. ZUr Vermieterin hatten wir einen sehr netten und unkomplizierten Kontakt, Sie wohnt nicht vor Ort und trotzdem war alles bestens organisiert. Wir können dieses Haus allen denen wärmstens empfehlen, die die Ruhe und Natur lieben und froh sind, dem Strand und Küstenrummel entkommen zu können.

Great place, great views, great time

We enjoyed 2 superb weeks in Perinaldo. The house is spacious with a very large living room and kitchen area, and 2 upstair bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. It is nicely decorated, well equipped, very clean and well maintained, and beautifully situated on top of the hill. From the house and from the terraces around you can enjoy a beautiful view, to the surrounding hills, to the Alpi Liguri in the north, as well as the Middeterenean sea in the south! Also handy: all windows have mosquito screens. There are several walking tours from the house, and of course many great hiking trails or little historic and pictoresque villages to visit in the rest of Liguria. Perinaldo is a pretty, quiet village within 10-15 min walking distance with some small shops (bakery, supermarket, pharmacy, post office, ATM machine), a tourist office, a bar and three restaurants. And of course the famous Cassini observatory. Several times per day, there is a bus going to Ventimiglia (market) with a stop in Vallecrosia/Bordighera (beaches!) and with connections to eg. Sanremo. The owner, Mrs Catterall, was very friendly and helpful! Highly recommended!!! Wij hebben 2 weken genoten in Perinaldo! Het huis is heel ruim en fijn ingedeeld met een grote leefruimte en keuken, en 2 slaapkamers met eigen badmaker. Het is gezellig ingericht, schoon en goed onderhouden, en mooi gelegen bovenop een heuvel. Zowel vanuit het huis als vanaf de terrassen rondom kun je genieten van een prachtig uitzicht, op de omrongende heuvels, op de Ligurische Alpen in het noorden maar ook op de Middellandse zee in het zuiden!! Ook handig: voor alle ramen zit muskietengaas zodat je weinig last hebt van deze beestjes. Vanuit huis zijn er verschillende wandeltochten te maken, maar je kunt natuurlijk ook hele mooie tochten en heel veel schilderachtige oude dorpjes bezoeken in de rest van Ligurie. Perinaldo is een leuk, rustig oud dorpje op ca 10-15 min. wandelafstand, met verschillende winkels (bakker, supermarktje, apotheek, postkantoor, pin automaat), VVV kantoor, een bar en drie restaurants. Een aantal keren per dag gaat er een bus naar Ventemiglia (market) met een stop in Vallecrosia/ Brodighera (strand!) en verbinding naar bv Sanremo. De verhuurster, Mrs Catterall, is allervriendelijkst en heel behulpzaam! Zeer aan te bevelen!!

Relax, rust en ruimte

Perfect huisje van alle gemakken voorzien als je het ontbreken van een tv geen probleem vindt. Altijd een plekje buiten in de zon of schaduw, mooie uitzichten en rust. Perinaldo op loopafstand voor een boodschap en/of een hapje en een drankje.

Mooi huis, heel zorgvuldig ingericht en gemaakt, goede bedden. Overal fijne terrassen en prachtig uitzicht. Erg schoon toen we kwamen. Het huis ligt direct bij het begin van een wandelpad de bossen in.

Agréable séjour dans un cadre de rêve

Nous avons passé une très agréable semaine à Perinaldo; la maison est très spacieuse et très joliment rénovée. Rien ne manque au niveau des équipements (les moustiquaires sont très appréciables !), et la vue sur les montagnes est superbe et très reposante. Le village, accessible à pieds, est charmant et dispose des commerces de base, et l'emplacement permet de rayonner alentour pour visiter les villages perchés ou se rafraîchir à la mer, à 20 minutes de là.

what ...no UK tv ?

yes this house has everything...except a tv ...why ? .. perhaps because of the location ? sit on terraces on both sides of the house...or just look out of a window...any window ..at any time of the day ...or night ( we were lucky we had the full moon ) & breath in the beauty of the mountains, be enthralled by the ever changing light... catch the unspoilt views along the valleys or simply stare at the village perched on the ridge opposite as it changes colours & as the cliche says just 'listen' to the silence ...after a week in this house you will know why it was the home of painter...oh ...& why you won't miss the tv !

Een oase van rust met een prachtig uitzicht.

Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. Aan diverse kanten is een terras, zodat je altijd in de zon of juist in de schaduw kan zitten. Het uitzicht is prachtig aan beide kanten. Een kiezelstrand is op 20 minuten rijden, voor een zandstrand moet je naar San Remo, maar dat is goed te doen. Echt een aanrader voor mensen die rust zoeken.

SPACIOUS AND COMFORTABLE FARMHOUSE

A very comfortable farmhouse, lots of space indoors and out with the most fantastic views from all areas around the property. Everything was clean with all utensils you would require. Easy walk into village of Perinaldo though quite hilly at the last stretch, good way to walk off your evening meal. The mini-mart has essentials, pharmacy, post-office, a couple of restaurants although never quite sure when one was to open, both good food. A small market every Wednesday, bread shop with some extra groceries as well and then a general store with just about everything. A bit 'hairy' getting up to the house over rough ground especially with a motorbike. Also, bathroom attached to twin bedroom has a step down to the toilet WATCH THE STEP, we both fell and bruised ourselves as we misjudged it. Overall a great property, very quiet and peaceful. Great for relaxing.

FANTASTIC !!

We stayed at this house last September - our friends were getting married in Perinaldo. The house was perfect - clean and beautiful decorated. The view over the hills is amazing.
