Hidden Dunes Cottage 184 Professionally Managed by Newman-Dailey

There is no doubt that this peaceful Destin cottage will provide a serene home away from home. The decor is light and airy delight with soft watercolor paintings . Plus comfortable designer furnishings and a screened in patio surrounded by natural foliage offer guests a true chance to relax. Even the spacious master suite has updated master bath with a beautiful walk in shower! and a quaint sitting area under a large window in the bedroom.


A location so close to the very popular Silver Sands Factory Outlets and dozens of delicious restaurants is one of the reasons so many visitors choose Hidden Dunes as their Destin vacation rental. Moreover, guests get to enjoy exciting amenities! Take a tram to the lighted basketball court or the six clay professional tennis courts. Enjoy walking trails with gazebos or take family pictures in the gazebo on the lily pad-clad lake. Lounge in one of the two pools with gazebos or just laze away the days on Hidden Dunes private beach.


Hidden Dunes offers six tennis courts with a Rubico Clay surface, which is the highest standard for clay tennis courts, and are maintained daily in order to provide the best playing conditions. Proper tennis attire is required to play and we encourage you to call ahead to schedule a match or take advantage of our clinics and private lessons. Please call to inquire about cost per session and equipment rental prices. Our friendly staff invites you to join for a game or two.

2 PARKING SPACES PROVIDED!

We require a minimum length of stay during the summer and over holidays.
We do not rent to anyone under 25 or to students. We require 1 parent for every 2 people under 25.

Guests receive a welcome kit with small dishwasher detergent, dish soap, sponge, a roll of paper towels, and laundry detergent. There will be an initial trash liner in each receptacle and a set of toilet paper and soaps for each bathroom provided. Guests will need to replenish supplies for longer stays.

In addition to our welcome kit, we also supply basic cooking essentials like salt, pepper, and oil.

Second visit even better than the first!

We stayed at the same exact condo in 2020 and again this month. It was great back then and even better now! They’d mDe some upgrades (very nice but not expected). We fell in love with the swing on the covered patio! Highly recommend this place!

Disappointing Cleanliness or lack thereof

We really wanted to enjoy this stay. The grounds were nice and loved the ease to getting to the beach. That was a nice perk; however, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The bed sheets were stained. There was chocolate on one sofa bed once we opened it which told us it hadn’t been checked. There was a pile of sand in the master bedroom which showed that the vacuum had be done quickly and superficially. There was a water bottle left behind one of the nightstands. The fan in the room didn’t work and the bathtub had a draining issue. We showered in a pool of water. All these details should have been addressed and taken care prior to our stay. We expected extra cleanliness especially during a pandemic. This disturbed oue trip because we were up lately cleaning and making ourselves comfortable. I would pay extra attention to the cleaning. There is much too large of a fee for this type of experience.

Perfect stay.

Perfect condo and property for our stay! We had never been to the Destin area, and booked the trip on a whim and drove 20 miles from Minnesota. We loved the short walk to the heated pool and beach. We felt the grounds and cottage were clean and there was plenty of room for social distancing. We loved swimming in the pool everyday and relaxing on the screened in porch at night. We will be back!

However, we are not infallible and it appears that we fell short on this occasion. In response to this email, we have communicated to the inspection team at Hidden Dunes and are modifying our procedure. In addition, we have brought your concerns regarding the condition of the carpet and addition of necessary kitchen items to the owner. On future stays, please call our office if items are missing, and we are happy to deliver to our rental. We hope you will still consider staying with Newman-Dailey for future beach vacations.
