Why Christina and J.D. LaRock chose Bridgton
We fell in love with Bridgton, Maine a couple of years ago! Bridgton has everything you'd want in a vacation destination...the beautiful Highland Lake, and everything from diners to fancy restaurants, gift shops to the local country store, cafes and coffeehouses, and both a movie theatre (w/3 screens) and the Bridgton Twin Drive-In Movie Theatre, local library and year-round activities to entertain and delight all who live or visit. It didn't take long for us to realize that we should buy a home here! When we visited 29 Larrabee's Run, we knew we had found that very home! It's a great lakefront home and so close to town, you can walk, bike, swim or drive to town! It's also a quick drive to Shawnee Peak, and all that the Maine Lakes Region has to offer! We couldn't be more thrilled to share this great home with you and your loved ones! We have a feeling that once you stay there, you'll want to come back year after year! And, if you don't feel that way, we'd truly like to know what we could do to make this your vacation destination year after year!

Our vacation was great, thanks in large part to the comfort and homey feel of the property. We were fishing, swimming and kayaking every day. At night, we had s'mores by the firepit. We had a great two weeks. The house is well equipped with all the comforts of home. Hope to come again!
Perfect Family Getaway
Christina was absolutely a gem to communicate with and went above and beyond for our family. She truly cared about our desires. The house was clean and had more than enough space for the 10 of us. We had kids and adults. We will be back for sure!
Wonderful Family Vacation!
We had a great week at 29 Larrabees Run! Highland Lake was wonderful, the house was fabulous and the amenities were perfect. We had plenty of everything!
The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. There was plenty of TP, garbage bags, condiments, soap, etc. We loved the kayaks, the canoe, the rafts, the sand toys..........
Christina was a dream to work with! I had a lot of questions leading up to our stay and she answered quickly and never made me feel like I was bothering her. While at her house, we had a small issue which she resolved immediately. Can't say enough about her. She gave us information on where to eat, shop, activities, rent a boat..........all of which were right on!
We had 6 adults and 6 kids ranging in age from 4-19. They loved every minute of the week. Air hockey tournaments were a favorite. 3 of them learned to fish and loved it too! Jumping off the dock was fun and so was snorkeling.
You won't go wrong here. Can't say enough. Go! Rent this house! Your family will love it!
Family lakeside vacation
3 generations enjoyed this wonderful Highland Lake rental. The home is warm, inviting, and spacious with comfy furnishings, well supplied kitchen, beautiful lake view, and plenty of elbow room for all ( 12 ). Great close-to-town location for easy shopping. Downtown Bridgton has so many fun, unique shops....don't miss Reny's ! The trip highlights : early morning dockside watching a loon family, renting a boat for tubing and fishing ( lake has some great spots ! ), swimming across the lake and back, floating in the warm waters, s'mores, ukulele concert, and storytelling by the campfire, kayaking over to Pine Island, and stargazing from the dock.
Christina was so helpful and accommodating throughout the rental process and we thank her for all her efforts to ensure a great family vacation .
Gorgeous Lake House
What a wonderful week we just spent in Bridgton, Maine! Christina provided all the details that were needed in a welcome packet and the house was immaculate. It was equipped with all the tools we needed to cook most of our meals at the house. We were 9 in total with ages ranging from 5 to 53 and we all had a truly amazing time. Lots of fun activities with biking, swimming, and boating. Oh and I must mention the incredible view of the lake from the living room. Absolutely gorgeous!
Family vacation week celebrating our 40th anniversary
Christina was an excellent host. The property was everything we expected and the listing was very accurate.
When we arrived everything was very clean and the kitchen had all the amenities that we needed
The master bedroom had a king size bed ( very comfortable) and a twin - the bathroom was very large and the huge jetted tub was great to bathe the grandkids. This bedroom also had an A/C that came in handy since it was a hot week
The family area on 1st floor was small for 9 of us but the large lower level family room made up for it ( the kids loved hanging together there and playing air hockey)
also the dehumidifiers created too much noise but kept the lower level dry and very cool
Outside the dock and beach area were very nice and clean.
Highland Lake was definitely beautiful as far as lakes go. Crystal clear, plenty of loons and ducks and not much boat traffic.
We rented a pontoon boat from Moore’s Landing based on Christina’s recommendation. It was a great plus ( note the the mooring was off the dock- didn’t prove to be a big deal it was fun swimming or canoeing to get boat and then pulling up to dock so all could get in)
Christina responded to all our requests very quickly. She was a pleasure to work with and we would definitely return. Thank you again for a wonderful week celebrating our 40th anniversary with family. There’s nothing better!
