Perfect place for a multigenerational family gathering. Kitchen was well equipped including 2 grill options. Lake front sandy bottom swimming with 2 kayaks. The hot tub was a highlight, too.
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful lake house. The sunsets were absolutely stunning, the location on the lake is perfect. We rented a pontoon boat and 2 jet skis and they fit nicely on the dock. We spent time swimming, boating, kayaking and sunsets at the fire pit. The property manager Jill is very responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We will be back!

Thank you for the nice review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay with us. Enjoy the rest of your summer.
We had a great week on Long Lake, the views and location are fantastic. The sunset views are worth it alone. The house had everything we needed and plenty of space for everyone. The hot tub was a hit for adults and kids and the large dock got plenty of use between the swimming, fishing and boating. Having the kayaks available was great as all the kids took turns exploring. Trudi and Jill were quick to respond throughout the process and we were glad to only have one inquiry during our stay in which they promptly responded.
The location is outstanding! There were several issues however... Had to call for more than one towel per person, likewise towels for the lake. No welcome book with instructions for hot tub or fp (which we were told we could not use) or how to leave property upon exiting. (Food/sheets/towels disposition)The screened in porch has been torn out and is non existent and the property is under renovation which was not disclosed. Not depicted in any of the listing photos. Building materials piled in basement room and closet & vanity downstairs filled with stored items of owner. We made the best of it, but would not have selected this property had we known it was under renovation. Have never had a situation like this with VRBO in the past. Disappointed !

Carolyn,
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We're truly glad you enjoyed the outstanding location—Long Lake is a special place, and we’re happy you were able to experience it.
We sincerely apologize for the inconveniences you encountered during your stay. While we do our best to ensure a comfortable and well-prepared home, it’s clear that we fell short in several areas. We’ve already begun taking steps to address the towel inventory and are updating our welcome materials to provide clear instructions on amenities and checkout procedures with our cleaning service.
Regarding the screened-in porch and ongoing renovations, we completely understand your disappointment. We are in the process of making improvements to the home, and we regret that this was not clearly reflected in the listing at the time of your booking. The listing has since been updated to provide a more accurate representation of the property.
We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and because your experience was not what we strive to deliver, we would love to invite you back for a complimentary weekend stay once the renovations are complete. It would mean a lot to us to have the opportunity to provide the relaxing and fully updated experience we intended.
Please feel free to reach out to me directly to coordinate a future visit—we’d love the chance to welcome you back.
Thank you - Jill Eberhardt

This was our third and LAST year in this home.
The house definitely has potential but the owners have not maintained it.
We arrived to find a driveway strewn with trash. Animals knocked over the cans ( which can happen) but the cans were old and didn't lock.
There was a large spill in the freezer that hadn't been cleaned and a large, old tv in the corner with a few inches of dust. When I tried to use the oven it filled the house with smoke. I had to clean it. When I tried to use their vacuum, I had to first clean the filter - big time. I also had to clean the outdoor furniture and sweep the path to the lake.
It was obvious that not only was the pre-rental cleaning sub par but the home had never gotten a pre-season cleaning.
Add to that that there has been a sign in the fridge for 3 years " drawer broken",
peeling garage doors that you see as you drive up and well as major sinkholes in the driveway. The exterior woodwork hasn't been maintained and part of the dock is so unstable it's an accident waiting to happen.
Upon complaining to the owner ( with photos for back up) I was met with
a defensive attitude.
We are impeccable renters and I can honestly say that we left the house cleaner than how we found it!
Needless to say I would not recommend this rental property,
Renter beware!

Our lake Home is a great retreat and we are sorry to hear that we did not meet your expectations. We appreciate your feedback and will use it to make future stays more enjoyable for the next guests. We hire an outside cleaning company that performs our week to week cleanings. We have addressed your concerns with them. We do our best to maintain the home and keep it fresh, modern and new. Last year we installed hardwood flooring throughout the home and added Kayaks for the renters outdoor enjoyment. We are scheduled to renovate the outside of the building during the off season this coming Fall/Spring.
We would like to invite you back for a complimentary weekend once the work is completed.
Please feel free to contact me with a date that would work for you and we can show you that we take pride in our home and value you as a guest.
My Best, Derek Wirwicz
It was a beautiful quiet spot on the lake to spend the holidays with our family. Plenty of nice hikes in the area and close enough to town for any needs.
We enjoyed our stay at this house on Long Lake. The lake, amenities and house are wonderful and you could not ask for more. The sunsets were amazing! The house was clean and the kitchen had all the utensils that we needed. We enjoyed our time on the lake. We loved using the kayaks and rented a boat for a few days. The hot tub was perfect for the cooler days and nights. The owner provided her phone number in case of any questions.
We hope to be back soon!
My family and I just returned from vacation and we totally enjoyed it. The house is spacious and very clean. The location on the lake is awesome! Jill/Trudy were quick to respond to any emails and questions. We would love to return to this location again!
Best week ever ! House and views were unbelievable. Easy, easy from start to finish .
Accommodations were perfect , house , yard and dock were more than we could ask for . Million dollar view for sure . Will be renting here next year and years to come . It was absolutely perfect ! Thank you Trudy for opening your home to my family .

The house met our expectations perfectly. Plenty of room, big yard and the dock was more than accommodating. This was also a fishing hot spot on the lake which was a pleasant surprise for us. I was also pleased with the communication with our host, even though we did not run into any issues.
This home has everything you are looking for in a lake house. Plenty of space for the entire family, a great location for water sports and close proximity to town. We have been renting for 10 years on Sebago. This was our first time on Long Lake and we may never go back!
This home was perfect for our family of four, but can accomodate more. The setting is peaceful, with a beautiful view of Long Lake (particularly at sunset), just steps from the house. The home was very clean, had everything we needed, and our host was very responsive to our questions, both before and during our stay. We would rent again.
Couldn't ask for a nicer place or location. House was beautiful inside and out. Definitely lots of updates you could see were done inside. The location on the lake was probably the best you could find. We brought jet skis and they had a dock right there to tie em up. Very large house with plenty of room to spread out, and the deck was huge, with more than enough room for everybody. We even joked we could play cornhole on the deck with all the room. Hot tub was brand new, although we didn't use it much because it was a warm week. Lake was perfect temperature, and great to take a quick swim and cool down. Grocery store was maybe a 15 minute ride into town. Plenty of restaurants within 15 to 20 minute ride, although we cooked and ate at the house most nights. All in all couldn't be more happy with the house and the time we had there.
This beautiful lakefront property was everything we hoped & more! From the amazing views, a generous dock & hot tub to see a gorgeous sunset or stargaze. And pure comfort & tons of air conditioned space inside with 3.5 baths & a huge kitchen! I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone & wouldn’t think twice about going back! Loved it!
This property is everything I imagined a lake house should have: Comfort, convenience and a million dollar view. This was one of the best vacations I have ever had.
We had an amazing time on Long Lake this year. This home is absolutely beautiful. The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed. The communication with Jill the property owner was excellent she responded quickly to all my questions during the rental process and kept in touch with me during the week to make sure we were enjoying our stay. The yard was perfect for the kids to play in. The dock was so great we were able to bring two boats (it holds 3). The kids tubed and the dads fished all day. I loved the fact that the linens were provided and the washer and dryer was so convenient. These two amenities made packing so much easier. While not pictured there is also a finished basement with the 5 th bedroom and another bath. there were 4 bedrooms upstairs. I just loved everything about this house. The central air kept us cool in the house when the weather outside got too warm, We cannot wait to go back next year! I know there is a one star review from another renter year ago - but that was not my experience at all! If you are thinking of renting this home - stop thinking and do it!
Thanks Shelly for your five star rating. We are happy you enjoyed your stay.

About the host
Hosted by Jill Eberhardt
Our home was built with family and entertaining in mind. Growing up in Massachusetts, we enjoyed going 'to Maine' every weekend to get away from the city life. We still use the home for our own personal use, but not nearly as much as we did. This is the reason we are offering others the chance to experience its exceptional attributes.
Why they chose this property
A great place to relax and get away. Enjoy the lakefront view and magnificent sight of Mt.Washington, NH.
What makes this property unique
Quiet Lakefront Home that is minutes to restaurants, shopping, golfing, hiking, hunting, skiing and snowmobiling, right out the back door!
