Welcome to the Pike Lake House located in Hartford WI with direct lake access to Pike Lake. Enjoy watching the sunrise, swimming, fishing and lazy days at our 100 years old historic cottage that comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. The Pike Lake House features a lakeside patio with table, charcoal grill, pier, campfire pit and gorgeous lake views right from our relaxing panoramic sun room. Local kayak, paddle board, paddle boat, canoe boat rental available. Make memories and enjoy lake life on beautiful Pike Lake.
The space
Our remodeled historic Pike Lake cottage house features 2 bedrooms, a spacious bathroom with rain shower, comfortable sitting areas for relaxing and viewing the lake.
Lower bedroom #1 has a Full sized bed, living room area has a Futon bed, and upper bedroom #2 has a Queen sized bed.
Enjoy beautiful panoramic Pike Lake views while enjoying a morning cup of coffee at the dining table or while relaxing on the sectional sofa.
Fully stocked galley kitchen perfect for making a lakeside dinner.
Lovely patio with lakeside dining table and charcoal grill (charcoal not provided).
Campfire pit available on non windy days.
Pier for docking your personal boat, fishing, or swimming.
Fishing - small mouth bass, walleye, northern pike, pan fish and bluegills.
Cottage has window air conditioning units and fans to provide comfort but does not have central air.
Guest access
Guests have access to entire cottage. Pier is a shared area.
Other things to note
Paddle board, kayak, paddle boat & canoe rental available on site. Contact host upon arrival for additional information and booking.
Boat rental on the Pike Lake is not available due to a city ordinance. However, if you bring your own you can use the public lunch area, and our pier.
Note:
First five feet of water front property is considered public access for lake residents by the County of Washington. It is normal to see residents passing along the shore. It happens rarely.
Allie, the property manager has a pontoon boat parked at the pier; unfortunately, renting that pontoon boat is not possible due to ordinance.
