It was comparatively expensive for three days. It is a well worn property but it was functional with beds for all. Make sure to bring all of your own provisions (food, toiletries) as you may not have them present.
We love this house for its convenience to extended family when we visit West Bend. Overall very clean. Beds are excellent. Feels like it needs a little hominess, though...how about some enlarged prints of the Wash County parks on the dining room or living room wall? We enjoy the park location!
Beautiful setting! My grandson enjoyed the swimming pond(except for the biting flies). It was very quiet and peaceful especially for a holiday weekend. I would definitely stay here again.

Thank you for your wonderful review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed the park and look forward to having you back.
You should advertise it as “a cabin in the woods”. We didn’t know the area so it was all quite a fantastic surprise. Also let renters know that the park signs call it “the Ranger’s Home”.
Perfect cabin-like setting with simple amenities and lovely surroundings. Perfect for people attending events at Sandy Knoll. A few minor suggestions to share to owners : check appliances are in working order before renting . Wash machine, coffee maker and iron need replacement or repair. Would recommend as a cozy place to stay
My wedding party and I stayed here the night before my wedding, and they stayed the night after as well. The place is huge, clean, and easy to access.
Perfect for any size family or group and will definitely be staying again!
This was our 4th visit to the Ranger House, and we will be back next year! We come to visit family , bringing family with us.
And have enjoyed every visit.
The Ranger Station is a great place to stay when visiting West Bend. The location gives privacy at night but located in a park with many available daytime activities. Close to numerous stores for any needed items. Also close to Old Downtown, an easily wallable area with many stores and great restaurants. It was our second time renting and will definitely rent here again.
It was easy to rent, find, and stay. I would definitely stay at the Ranger House again when in Wisconsin. Thank you for a good experience!!

Great family get away
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking kettles etc. The beds comfortable. It was a perfect gathering place for us. Privacy in the bedrooms and good group gathering space in the kitchen living room.

Atina,
Thank you for your great review of the Ranger House. We agree that this is a awesome gathering place for families. We hope that you enjoyed the new windows and patio doors that were installed throughout the house in November 2015.
Please plan to stay with us again in the future and check on the continued improvements we make to the house.
Thanks again,
Washington County Parks Dept.
Loved this house and had many great features. The backyard is huge and wonderful for sitting around a fire. I would definitely go back!

Nice secluded place
Great place. The only thing I'd say negatively would be that it would have been nice to have some salt and paper products - napkins, paper towels etc.

Hey Eric,
Thanks for your review and kind words. I should have told you that there is a giant container of salt right outside the garage door. We will try and keep paper products in the house in the future, great idea.
Thanks,
Eric
We needed a place for several family members to stay while attending our daughter’s wedding in the area. The place was perfect for what we needed. It was as described and very easy to access and well equipped.
We rented this for our wedding weekend. We had some family coming in from out of town. The place was amazing. Super clean and comfortable! Will definitely recommend!
Three bed cabin, clean and comfortable. Well appointed kitchen, 2 full and 1 half bath. Nice park location. Grocery store is just 5 minutes away. Dog park on site.
