Location, Location, Location:
Canal front property in private and quiet neighborhood. Great for families and children. Large lawn area for children to play. Dock for a boat (boat ramp is less than 5 minutes away, 4ft. draft) with fishing cleaning station, also great for fishing and crabbing. One two person kayak, two adult single kayaks, 2 child size kayaks, and one paddle board! Close to ocean and sound.

Main house:
This is a great 4 bedroom home with 3 full bathrooms. Sleeps up to 10-12 people comfortably (one king, two queens, 3 bunk beds). Has a wonderful screened in porch facing the water! Open living room and kitchen. Great for families (renter must be 24 years of age or older)! Kitchen amenities include, stove/oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, toaster, coffee machine, crock pot, blender, hand mixer, grill utensils, pots/pans, baking dishes, cooking utensils, serving platters, plates, bowls, cups, and plenty of silverware. Includes a washer and dryer. Also, has a charcoal grill facing the water.

There is a ring camera that is used only for security purposes when house is not being used.

Has a spectacular sunset view!

Well stocked and clean house. Nice to have linens and cleaning supplies included. Great outdoor amenities (kayak, life vest, chairs). Nice development to walk around or kids to ride a bike. Frisco Beach access was a 3 mile drive with nice bathhouse.

We stayed here 3 nights for a wedding and it suited our needs. It was our first time in Hatteras, which was nice. The outside of this place is in good shape. Inside, the bathrooms need updating and there is only one large closet in the master bedroom. No closets in the other two bedrooms. Also, the living space is two floors up, so lots of steps. If these things wouldn’t bother you, then you would enjoy this rental. The owner is very responsive.

A Little Dissapointed

Communications were great with the property and check in was easy. For a place for guys to go to after a day of fishing, it was OK. But there was a real lack of cleanliness in the kitchen equipment and the linens were all stained. My wife noticed a ton of tired furnishings and the AC in the bunk room was lacking - and the extra fans furnished in the room showed that its a known issue. Now for a positive, that screened in back porch is awesome. Easy access to all the Buxton area fishing is a plus too. I hope the owners will address the issues so we can come back again.
