Come enjoy the perfect retreat located in the Talmont Estate* area of Tahoe City. This modern rustic home has breathtaking lake views from all three levels. It borders beautiful wooded open land seen from the eating area, kitchen and master bedroom windows. Stylishly decorated and well appointed throughout.
Back patio with a fire pit and hot tub for relaxing. Or, sit on decks and enjoy the views.
Enjoy the modern kitchen with new appliances, quartzite counters and all the conviences you need to create fabulous meals. Kitchen/ family room are open and have many large windows bringing in the beauty and light from the outside, showcasing the beautiful lake views. The color palette of the main living space is purposely neutral to not distract or compete with the views and outdoor focal point. 52 inch flat screen in family room. Surround sound throughout most of house. This second floor level has a private bedroom with a queen bed and a separate half bath.
Lay in the primary bed and look out and see Lake Tahoe from the top floor window and mountain views out the others. There is a sitting area with a big screen television and an en suite bathroom with a separate tub and shower. The master bedroom also has a yoga and meditation alcove. The other bedroom on this level has an extra long twin bed and an en suite bathroom with a shower. This room also has a flat screen t.v.
The bunk room on the first floor has a queen bed and three extra long twins. This room has a large screen television, play station and bean bag lounger. It is a perfect floor to separate families if sharing the house. This floor has it's own bathroom , with a shower/tub located conviently next to bunk room. The laundry room is also on this level.
Your rental will include access to Tahoe Park (open seasonally) a private lake front beach club with two piers, BBQ's, picnic tables, volleyball, basket ball, horse shoes and children's playground.
The home is located close to Palisades, Alpine Meadows and Homewood Resorts. It is also minutes from Paige Meadows, perfect for hiking, mountain biking, snow shoeing and cross country skiing. The home is just two miles from the heart of Tahoe City and all it has to offer. Located less then a quarter mile away is the West Shore Market. A gourmet locally owned market and deli featuring organic produce, fresh baked goods, coffee bar, gelato bar, artisan cheese, wine cellar and speciality beers. Everything you need to stock the fridge or make a picnic. Blue Moon market close by is an excellent source for your organic needs.

Minimum Age to rent- 30 years old No exceptions on maximum occupancy of 8 people. The home is better suited for able adults and older children due to stairs, high bunk beds and other conditions.
Please note: The Talmont area is higher elevation, if snowing you will need a four wheel drive and/or snow chains. The roads can be slippery and icy. Driveway is long and steep. If the storm is big, it may be impassable. We have a plow service. It is kept plowed during the winter as much as possible. But, this means at times, the driveway may have 3-4 inches of snow.The snow plow is not on call for immediate attention to the driveway. You may have to wait.
Weather permitting, we have regular shoveling of stone walkways and decks. At times, there may be power outages and other dilemmas caused by storms. Mother Nature is at her finest up here and can be in charge. It is a winter wonderland when snowing and you can enjoy the breath taking views through our many windows. No refunds due to weather, illnesses and Mother Nature happenings.
We highly recommend you purchase travel insurance to cover stay. You never know if someone becomes ill and can not travel or Mother Nature decides to do her thing.
Security cameras are active outside in front of house. No pets, animals, smoking, vaping or illegal drug use allowed.

We love that we have open forest land on our side. You can look out the big kitchen window and see nothing but trees and open land. It is also walking distance to great hiking.
