Good Secluded Location
Great secluded beach, however water is murky. Home short path to beach but path floods badly with water and mud when it rains. We used an alternate path. Bring bug spray as the bugs can get bad. Great screen in porch with view. Great crow’s nest awesome view. Spiral stairs are steep and get hot in the sun. Also, spiral stairs are ratchet strapped to actual porch. Seemed a bit dangerous. We had to have broken chairs replaced during our visit. Third full bath is under the house and only accessible from outside and steps are not covered, so if raining this becomes very problematic. Upon arrival house was dirty with pet hair and dust everywhere, moldy shower curtains, no curtain in main floor bedroom and broken box spring on one of the beds. After speaking with maintenance these issue were fixed. However, my daughter did sleep on the broken bed for three days as the box spring had to be ordered. There is good seating however couches and arm chairs need updating. Probably wouldn’t rent this house again but this is a pretty and peaceful location.

Family getaway
Needed a break from work. This was just what I needed. Did not want to leave. The beach was just footsteps away-loved that. The view was great. Kids and grandkids loved the location. Once we found dog friendly restaurants our stay was even better. The credit towards bikes was a wonderful treat. Thanks!!!

Needs better beach access
Almost everything was fine, but we all felt like there is one big flaw. The walk to the beach isn't far, but the path needs to be upgraded. Because of the rain our path was flooded with several inches of water for almost the entire week. It was very unpleasant to walk through. A lot of the other properties have a wooden walkway. That is what this property needs, and the cost could be split with a few of the neighbors. We ended up using a walkway for a neighboring house that was empty. For us, this was a major issue. It might not be bad if there is no rain, but I think the walkway should be there anyway. The only other issue has nothing to do with the property, but the area itself. So many mosquitos! This also might have been because of the rain. Sunset were beautiful, but once down, get inside because the mosquitos come out in force and the biting is painful. We watch the sunset and then would run inside. Bonfires help and it is nice that the beaches allow them.
