Such a fantastic home. Great location, comfortable beds, clean, home layout was great. Plenty of room, my daughter loved the games and was able to see lots of deer which made her whole trip. Thank you so much - will be back!
Very charming home - just a few small things that would have made our stay 5-star ......only 1 set of bath towels per bathroom is not enough and the bath towels that were there needed to be replaced. Outlets in the downstairs bathroom did not work. The home was clean however area rugs were worn. Nice new refrigerator and washer/dryer - loved sitting on the back deck and enjoying the view.
Best stop near Denver only 30 minutes from downtown

The property was overall as expected. However, at night we saw two mice in the kitchen, they even ate our sandwich bread. I understand that the home is in the mountains and it’s hard to avoid having unwelcome guests. But we were disappointed with response from the host, it was a cookie cutter “thanks for telling us” and we felt this deserved a more robust response. I would hope the pest had been taken care of before renting again, but the lackadaisical attitude is what drove me to write this review.
The A-Frame was a fantastic location for our small team's annual retreat. The barn provided a great space for workshops, and brainstorming was comfortable and well-appointed. I would highly recommend it to a large group!
Beautiful home in a great location. We went to many local spots and had a great family vacation. The hot tub was a hit for all. It was very clean and taken care of. The only negative feedback I could leave is that there needs to be more dish towels in the kitchen- one was not enough. Everything else was great!

We have a thing for a-frames and have stayed in many over the years. This experience was not our favorite. Pros:The property is peaceful and there are several areas to relax. The rocking chairs on the back deck and the barn with ping pong were perfect. Super close to Maxwell Falls hike which was awesome. Cons:Everything felt very bare bones compared to other stays we’ve had. Each of the 3 bathrooms had 2 towels (and one hand towel). That makes 6 towels. The cabin sleeps 8. Thankfully we just had 6 people staying. We drove 12 hours to get there and ended the night with changing sheets on four of the beds. The contact person was responsive and reached out to the cleaner to confirm sheets were changed. I was told it was black fuzz from a blanket, which there was black fuzz. But there was also human/dog hair in ALL of the sheets. I was told “if I wasn’t comfortable I could swap them out.” I wish I could attach the pics. Just not a great way to begin the trip. The master shower looks great but only one side works and not very well. The Keurig needs descaling. You have to walk through the bunk room to get to the master bedroom. Evergreen is a cute little mountain town. We made some great family memories at Red Rocks (must do!), hiking, and watching my son propose to his girlfriend at Evergreen Lake (beautiful!) but will look for other accommodations when we come back.

Trisha, Thank you so much for the thoughtful and detailed feedback. I’m truly sorry your stay didn’t start off the way it should have. We did try to get a backup cleaner out there right away since our regular cleaner was out of town, but it’s clear we missed the mark on this one. Unfortunately, we also occasionally run into guests bringing pets without approval, which creates issues for the next group and definitely impacts things like linens.
We’re actively working on tightening those controls and have addressed the towel and descaling issue since your stay. I’m glad you were still able to enjoy the peaceful setting and your family’s special moments at Red Rocks and Evergreen Lake. Wishing you all the best on future visits to the area and thanks again for helping us improve.
The accommodations were spacious both indoors and outside areas. It was clean and very well maintained. The hosts were timely in their communications with us. Would we stay here again? Absolutely!
