Great house, excellent location, and responsive host.

We spent a lot of time at the beach, which is just a short walk away, relaxing in the house, which was spacious and comfortable, and enjoying the shops and activities of Asbury Park.

The property is worn - it reminded me of off campus student housing from the 1970’s. One bathroom sink was coming off the wall. For the price charged, the amenities were paltry (no soap, few towels, etc.). If you have any mobility issues at all, this property is not accessible. At a lower price point, this property would be fine for younger renters just looking for a crash pad. The advertised “lake view” is a bit of a stretch. My group was very disappointed and wondered how it received all 5 star reviews. I don’t normally write reviews and it bothers me a little to leave a poor one, but this was our experience. This rental was nowhere near worth what we paid for it.
