Delightful, newly renovated, 3 bedroom cape in a charming country setting

In the picturesque rural town of Marilla, right outside East Aurora, this lovely completely renovated cape home is a beautiful, comfortable and welcoming choice. It’s a peaceful option that’s about 20 minutes from many of Western New York’s popular destinations. A nice choice for a family, a couple, or an individual…traveling for family visits, shopping and site-seeing or a business trip.

We are walking distance to The Marilla Country Store. Founded in 1851, the store is the oldest continuously operating country store in New York State.

On the first floor is an inviting farmhouse kitchen that seats 8 comfortably. Everything you need to eat-in is provided, including a full-size gas oven with air-fryer option and modern amenities. The coffee bar is stocked with a colorful collection of mugs (pick your favorite to use during your stay!) and options for coffee and teas.

A spacious and comfortable living room has enough seating for all, with a large, plush sectional, two recliners, a large TV, plus an electric fireplace for cool nights and a cozy atmosphere!
Also on the first floor is a serene bedroom with a king bed, nightstands with USB ports and TV.

A private room with a couch, lift top table and TV offers a quiet work or hangout space. The couch can be converted to a full-size bed. A full bath with shower completes the first floor.

The second floor offers two pretty bedrooms, one holds a queen bed and the other has two twin beds, comfortable for adults as well as children. A second full bath on this floor has a tub with shower.

There is plenty of space in the game room to enjoy a large selection of games, cards and books.

With plenty of outdoor area to enjoy too, you’ll love your time at the Marilla Country Cape!

Great property in the center of a quiet town. Awesome diner right around the corner and very conveniently located near Bar Bill Tavern and Highmark stadium. Perfect place to crash after a game! Would definitely stay there again.

The Country Cape had everything we needed and more. It was clean, welcoming, and the snacks and cinnamon rolls were a wonderful surprise. Although I’ve visited the Marilla Country Store for years, I had never known about the Country Cape. I recommended your place to several friends throughout the weekend.

This was the nicest Vrbo we've ever stayed in! We felt comfortable from the moment we stepped inside. This little cape was so inviting and well decorated! They thought of everything we might need! The cinnamon buns and the treat basket made our day! Special thanks to our wonderful hosts Paul and Sandy!!

This house was amazing! It was so clean and has been well taken care of. The house is just as it looks in the pictures. The weather was great for July so we enjoyed the cool breeze on the front porch in the mornings and the back deck in the evenings. We would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic stay at a lovely home. Location was perfect for visiting Buffalo as well as Niagara Falls. The house was incredibly clean and the owners have thought of just about everything one could need while there. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 4 children.

As soon as we saw this place, we knew it was going to be a great stay. The house is beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were greeted with special treats from the Marilla Country Store. We found so many amenities from a well-stocked kitchen to loads of towels and shampoo, body wash, and lotion in the bathrooms. The rooms were comfortable. The backyard was large enough for the kids to run around. The hosts were very kind and accommodating. We hope to be able to stay here again on another trip to western New York.

This property is amazing! It was so clean-everywhere. The kitchen was wonderful. Everything was stocked so well, even coffee (which is important to us). The living room was so comfortable. The bedrooms were so cute. The beds were very comfortable. There were dressers available to put your clothes in and hangers in the closet. Also, there were lots of pillows to choose from and the bedding was amazing. I can't say enough how wonderful this place was!!! We would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling to the Buffalo area. Also, the hosts were so accommodating. The communications were great and the Marilla Country Store next door is a must see. You could spend hours there. Loved it all! Thank you!

Loved this place! So comfortable and cozy. Beautifully decorated and the hosts have thought of everything to make the house truly feel like home. From the welcome basket of goodies upon check-in and the stocked coffee/tea bar and cinnamon rolls for breakfast to the baby gate, toddler bed rail, books, games and toys for all ages - this place truly met all of our needs and provided an enjoyable mini vacation. The hosts are wonderful, friendly and accommodating.

Our stay in Nov 2025 was delightful! The home was very clean and host was very responsive. We arrived to find a big welcome snack basket that thoughtfully included several items for the young children who were with us. There was also yummy cinnamon rolls. This was a wonderful ‘cottage’- one that accommodated 3 couples and a single with ease. Warm, well stocked, beautifully decorated, communication on point. The hosts thought of everything (everything!!). It is our first choice the next time we travel to Buffalo. We loved it!

The blue house was the best vrbo rental we have ever stayed at. The property was very clean and all the appliances were newly upgraded including a nice size fridge, gas stove, and dish washer. There were ample cups, saucers, plates, silverware, glasses, and stuff to cook with. The host provided a nice Keurig coffee maker with kcups and coffee /tea creamer and sweeteners.. There was a nice size driveway to park both our vehicles . The house had 3 regular rooms with very comfortable beds,w/ xtra pillows. Small room on ground floor and the living room had a foldout with the couches. There is a bathroom on both levels for use. The showers were great and ample towels, shampoo, conditioner and even an extra tooth brush:). the basement had two washers and dryers. They both worked great. The downstairs rooms had TVs in them with Roku, Also very good wifi. We loved sitting on the front porch,it was nice. The backyard had a deck with a gas fire table,a gas bbq and a fire pit in the yard. The big plus for us was the house had ac that worked really well. Then there is the extras.:paper plates and siverware and the owners own the general store on the corner and they provided some treats in the house,which we enjoyed!. The store is a two minute walk..and has tons of stuff plus chocolates and our favorite,fresh roasted nuts..!! we really loved this house and will try to stay here again when were back in Western N.Y...Tina..8/13/26

Enjoyed Our Stay

Everything was great! The little basket of goodies and especially the cinnamon buns made the kids feel welcome immediately. I have a hard time getting comfortable away from home but this place was really cozy. We enjoyed the games, toys and roasting marshmallows in the backyard.

We also live next to the cape, so we are very easy to access should our guests have any needs.
