The house is amazing and huge. The photos don't show tge actual size of the place. All bedrooms have a very large full bathroom and big showers. The property is beautiful and the path down to the Beach has an amazing aroma carried on the ocean breeze. My fiance and I had the most relaxed vacation in years. This place was perfect for us and we truly enjoyed our stay. We will rebook for next year and hopefully many more to come. The caretaker of the place was very polite and very accessible if we had a problem he would be there immediately. Also Milly the home owner was fantastic with her response time. It was truly a vacation of a lifetime. I wish I had stayed longer I think 2/3 weeks or even a month is worth every dime. Looking forward to my return, thank you Milly for sharing your beautiful home with us...

If you are even THINKING of this beach rental, go ahead and book it! We just returned after a month vacation and would recommend it in a heartbeat.
The home is beautiful and more equipped than anything we have ever rented. The area is completely safe, quiet and the views are amazing. The owner provided A+ service.

Terrific stay
My husband and I spent a month at the Beduinos beach house. The weather was fabulous and the house met all our needs. The rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished. Mily and family were always available and Miguel took good care of our needs. There was always fresh fish available from the local fisherman who were delightful. We cannot wait to return next year.

Beautiful home in a beautiful location
Mily is a wonderful landlady. The location is on the Gulf of Mexico and the beach is spectacular. My grandkids were safe, the tides are low and the water not very deep. The region is full of ruins, cenotes and sleepy fishing villages. So much to do and see or just hang out on the beach.

Really enjoyed our stay, house was spacious and clean, shopping in Progresso was not a issue.
The family enjoyed our stay, the owner met us at house to show us around and gave us valuable tips, a real help plus Miguel the care taker was a big help as well, good time.

Great location. Unfortunate weather.
Mily & her family were wonderful hosts taking care to respond quickly to any concerns we had.. Their caretaker, Miguel, was very attentive and a great asset to the Abraham family. The house, Beduinos, is lovely and modern, and lives up to the expectations of the website. A car is necessary as you are 15 minutes drive from Progreso. Each Thursday 2 brothers drove up and offered seafood for sale at the door. Just west of Beduinos, at kilometre 25, was a lovely, quiet resort called Technohotel. We ate there several times and were thrilled with the food and the friendly service. Very nice! There were two unfortunate parts of the experience. One was very poor weather in January while we were there- strong winds (which brought large amounts of seaweed & plastic in from the ocean onto the beach), lots of cloud and often much cooler than we expected. But then there was very poor weather everywhere in January. The second was that a new house was being built right next door, which took away from our privacy while the workers were there building. Neither of these experiences would necessarily affect someone else's stay in the future.

Beduinos
We just spent three weeks at Beduinos with family and already have our deposit paid for next year. The house is beautiful and the owners are wonderful. it was our first time renting in the area and I don't think we would go anywhere else now. Merida is about 35 minutes away and has everything - old city charm with all the amenities, including Costco. Progresso is about 10 minutes away with a great beach downtown and a fabulous market within the town - be sure to go early in the morning for the fresh fish and veggies. You will need a car - there isn't anywhere within walking distance except miles of beautiful beach. We did lots of day trips to all the little pueblos and puerto towns and thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet on the patio. Thank you Mily and family for everything!!!!

Amazing family vacation!!!
My family of 5 (spouse and I, children 14, 11, and 8) enjoyed an amazing week at Casa Beduinos. The pictures of the home don't do it justice - modern, comfortable, well equipped, super clean, all in a perfect locale.
Mily, the owner, and her husband met us at the property upon arrival and made sure that we had all that we needed and checked in with us periodically to ensure our comfort - super accessible, they also introduced us to the home's caretaker, Miguel, who lives nearby.
The home has three large bedrooms with en suites, A/C's, flat screen TV's, High Speed Internet, and an additional full bath easily accessible from the pool and common living area.
From the back porch, a 20 yard stroll down a sandy path takes you to the beach where we looked for sea shells (best shell beach I have ever seen and I live in California), built sand castles (very nice soft sand), and played in the calm waters. We walked the beach for at least a mile in either direction and NEVER saw another soul. This area is what I imagine the Florida Keys were like 50-60 years ago.
The home was far enough to make you feel like you were "getting away from it all" and close enough to not feel isolated.
From the home we took day trips to Merida, Progreso, Chichen Itza, cenotes, other ruins, etc. The roads were excellent and driving at night never felt unsafe.
We have been visiting the Cancun/Playa del Carmen area for 20 years, but got tired of the commercialization of the area (feels like a more expensive version of Santa Barbara, CA) - Merida/Progreso and Casa Beduinos is our new "goto" spot.
Can't wait to go back!

About the host

I was born, grew up and live in Merida wich is the capital of the Yucatan state and it is situated 45 minutes away from this beachfront house. Me and my family have lived all our lives in Merida.
Why they chose this property
This house was built for me and my family and represents for us a place to rest, relax and have fun live. We usually spend our weekends at the beach where we swim, in the afternoon we like to walk on the shore sea, we play cards, and also we like to have dinner in the ocean-view terrace.
What makes this property unique
This house is located in front of the best beach area, what makes you to enjoy the best scenarios, to have direct contact with nature, always surrounded by an atmosphere of beauty and tranquility.
