Great stay

The house was super clean and exactly as pictured. Great for little kids because while it's decorated nicely and very "Austin" there aren't a bunch of trinkets for little ones to get into. The only request I would have if I stayed here again would be to have some kitchen towels or a drying rack available so guests don't have to waste paper towels. Fantastic stay, would definitely recommend!

Clean, roomy layout, convenient location, with great entertainment amenities.

We loved this house, our granddaughters loved the bunk beds and games. We were able to cook some meals here and find great restaurants nearby as well. And Kelly provided quick assistance when we inadvertently locked ourselves out. A great weekend experience.

Cockroaches Everywhere

Thankfully, I arrived at the house in the afternoon because there was a lock on the door that I didn’t have a code or key for. I called the manager and she told me where the key was to open the other lock but I kept wondering what would have happened if I arrived late at night? The house is the complete opposite of an open-concept layout and one of the bedrooms cannot be closed off for privacy. The bunk beds were very squeaky and needed to be tightened. The house was relatively clean but it is infested with roaches. We complained about the bugs and the exterminator could not get there until after we were gone. I understand that, however, we saw so many roaches that I’m convinced there is a huge nest behind the kitchen sink. We would kill the three on the counter only to turn around and have three more show up. I live in Texas and know we have to put up with bugs but it was disgusting to see so many roaches on our bananas, bags of chips, etc. And the kicker? A fried cockroach in the toaster. I sure am glad I looked before using it.

Exceptionally great place for families with kids!

Wonderful place to stay, especially for families. The set up is perfect for kids and the neighborhood is safe and friendly, convenient to shops, restaurants, and all that Austin has to offer. The cost is reasonable and the property is well maintained. We loved it! The only improvement I would suggest is better response from the host. One of our travelers got to Austin early and inquired about one hour earlier check in. The host did not respond at all.

Attractive neighborhood close to Austin attractions

overall the house was beautiful and close to everything we wanted to do. However, the inside was not as clean as I would have hoped. There was blood on the master beds mattress cover, roaches in the kitchen and the kitchen utensils and appliances (specifically toaster) were not clean. The dryer had a load of clothes in it that appeared to be from the previous renters stay. The local agent was easy to get I touch with and very nice.

Fantastic location and fantastic property

This property suited all our needs. There were 5 adults staying here for the Austin 70.3 2015. Plenty of space for all of us. Had a great time. Neighborhood is nicely located with lots nearby. Downtown is close enough to get there in 10 min. Drive to Travis County Expo was only 20 min. Neighbors are nice. Clean property. Absolutely loved it! Will be staying here again!!!! Thank you so much!

Perfect for our group

The property was perfect for our group of 6. We arrived earlier than anticipated and called the local contact. She check wh the cleaning service and then let us check in early so we didn't have to lug our bags around when we went to lunch. The house looks small from the street, but the lay out is unique and offers plenty of space for 6 adults, with room to spare. The house was clean and well decorated with lots of art work that screamed "Austin". The location of the house is great. It's within walking distance to some fun local shops, restaurants and bars. Room service, Barflys, workhorse, tigress, drink.well, Pharoa, and Epoch Coffee are all just a short walk down the street, but there are no sidewalks in the immediate neighborhood, so just keep that in mind when out and about. Our group took a walk around the neighborhood one afternoon to admire the very eclectic and interesting mix of houses that are located in that part of North Loop. We rented a car for our stay, which I would recommend doing. There are bus stops close to the house, but I didn't see one bus in our neighborhood. With your own car, getting downtown to 6th street, Zilker, Rainey St, UT, and even to places a little further from down town like Mount Bonnell and Hamilton pool was a breeze. Parking at the house was no problem and even when downtown, we never spent more that $10 to park for 5 hours or so. Overall, this house was exactly what we needed for our trip and would love to stay here again.

Great Austin location

Well taken care of with lots of room! We had 6 people and it was perfect. Fouton was not the most comfortable but it worked. Only complaint was we had 4 towels to be used by 6 females...not nearly enough. The Master Bath was great for getting ready with plenty of counter/mirror space. Overall a great property and location.

The house was very clean, the Kelly, the local contact was incredibly helpful and responsive and the neighborhood was wonderful for a girls' weekend! We had a great time and would definitely rent this house again!

Great Location

House has a very different and unique layout from what me and my friends were use to but it worked well for there being 7 of us. The house is cute and in a great location literally just a few minutes from downtown and restaurants. I'd definitely rent again in Austin.

Amazing stay in a perfect little house.

My colleagues and I absolutely loved staying in this pretty little Austin home. It was so clear that the owner had thought through everything a traveler might need, from basic staples in the kitchen to little baskets full of a variety of travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and body wash (from really nice hotels!). The beds were comfortable and the shower pressure great. The dining room has both a wine rack and a wine fridge, which lets you know the owner understands our priorities at the end of a long work day! We never once had a moment where we couldn't find something we needed. Often in a vacation rental it's an inconvenience to not be in your own home, because the house often doesn't have everything your house does. This was the complete opposite: everything we needed was easy to find and of the best quality. Plus the neighborhood was amazing, the garden was beautiful, and the restaurant recommendations were spot-on. We'll be so delighted to stay there again next time we're in Austin. None of our party had children, but I stayed in the room with the bunk beds, and there have been SO many accommodations made for kids. Lots of toys and a variety of age-appropriate books, plus a big bureau to make it easy to organize kids' clothes (which could easily double as a changing table for parents of small ones). If you have children, this will be an ideal rental for you.

Perfect Stay in Austin

I absolutely loved this house for our weekend trip to Austin! Two colleagues and I were in town for a conference last weekend and were staying in this house for three nights. It was the perfect place for us to get some work done, enjoy wine together in the evening, and crash on the couch after a long day. The big cushy couch was so perfect after a very long day on our feet. The master bathroom was my favorite with the claw-foot tub, long counters, and my favorite shampoo and conditioner already there :) I can tell the owner has the same taste as me. This house was the perfect home away from home and I'll be back next time I come to Austin!

Quaint and True SXSW Cool

Long-time SXSWers, we decided to mix it up this year and stay north of the river -- we had no idea what we'd been missing. This neighborhood is old-school-Austin-awesome. The bars, shops and restaurants in the area are full of locals vs out-of-towners. Even during SX, this area is not crowded, but still very convenient to downtown. The house is less than a block from a bus stop and we were in the heart of downtown in 12 minutes. The house itself is super-cute and well-stocked with amenities. There are so many great things to eat in Austin, but we decided to stay in and grill one night - the weather was awesome for hanging out in the backyard. Highly recommend - just not during the weeks when we plan to come back : )

Location!

Awesome location in a sleepy neighborhood that's just minutes from everything!! Great communication by the property manager and the place was spotless. This is a perfect central spot to get out and see Austin!

Perfect Location

Stayed here for a Texas football game, was able to walk to a nearby bar and then take a quick Uber to the game. Would definitely stay here again, great if you have kids too, there is a master bedroom and a second room with bunk beds.
