Beautifully presented summer home on an acre of land, featuring a gunite 18 x 36 ft heated pool, is perfect for family gatherings. Four bedrooms plus bunk room provide comfortable and flexible sleeping accomodation for maximum of 13 people. Bike to Dowses Beach and quaint Osterville village.
Furnished to the highest standard yet with family living in mind, the house is over 3,000 square feet providing plenty of room to spread out . An open plan kitchen, dining, living room opens on to the back deck overlooking lawn, pool and woods. The screened in sun porch is perfect for games on a summer's night or roast marshmallows over the firepit by the pool.
Rental includes a beach pass to Dowses beach, a pretty 2 mile bike ride or drive away. There is also water access across the street for paddle boards and kayaks.

After spending many family holidays on the Cape, we decided it was time to buy a place of our own and found this beautiful home in Osterville in the fall of 2015. We wanted to create a home for ourselves where we would spend vacations with extended family and friends for years to come.
Why they chose this property
We chose Osterville as the village is so charming and offers wonderful restaurants, lovely shops, village library and gourmet deli and, importantly, a bakery with wonderful coffee and crumb cake. We chose this lovely house as it ticks all the boxes - beautiful setting on quiet tree-lined road from which we can cycle to the beach and village, water access for kayaks and paddleboards and, importantly, there was room for a pool! The pool, deck and firepit are being constructed now and will be ready for summer. In addition to wonderful location and outdoor attactions, the layout of the house is perfect for extended families with lots of bedrooms and bathrooms!
What makes this property unique
Access to North Bay across the street featuring little "beach" perfect for toddlers or to read a book with your feet in the sand. Put in our Kayaks and paddleboard here as well. House also has gym with weights, treadmills. Ping pong in garage, badminton, can jam, pool volleyball and board games. Fantastic back patio with BBQ overlooking pool and firepit makes perfect gathering spot day and night. Backyard offers excellent privacy.
