Just north of Eugene, Oregon, at the foot of the Coburg Hills, you’ll find a cozy retreat situated next to a scenic pond. This pet-friendly* three-bedroom, one-bath, plus kitchenette has everything you need for a weekend getaway or a month-long escape. Nearby towns of Coburg and Harrisburg offer unique, small-town charm, yet have plenty of local restaurants and shopping to meet all your needs! A picturesque 25-minute drive to the University of Oregon campus, and a 40-minute drive to Oregon State University, the Farm House on Mount Tom is the ideal location for campus visits.

You can enjoy activities such as hiking, fishing, antiquing, and wine tasting. Perhaps you'd like to take a day trip to the coast to pick up some Dungeness crab. Or maybe you'd just like to relax on the patio with a cup of tea, surrounded by grass fields, watching the chickens and ducks. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as deer and elk, and several species of birds from swallows to goldfinches to bald eagles! Don't miss taking in the sunset and the night sky, being serenaded by frogs, while sitting around the propane fire pit.

Great Visit

We were in town to attend a family wedding and visit with extended family. This is a comfortable and convenient place to stay. We appreciated the snacks, coffee, and eggs that were available to us.

“Home” for the Holidays

The farm house was our “home” for a week that included a basketball tournament, various Christmas celebrations with extended family, and time with our immediate family. The unit had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We especially appreciated the farm fresh eggs, snack basket, and plenty of coffee!

Peace and quiet on the farm

I chose this property because I could not find anything suitable in Eugene (plus properties there cost more). Appreciated the light and bright bedrooms, the layout of the living area, access to the garage, and the patio space. Everything was in clean and in order. The host supplied, coffee/creamer, fresh eggs and goodies for humans and dogs. Very thoughtful hosts, comfortable property and a short drive to Coburg (adorable!) and Eugene.

We met Jared when we drove up. We were trying to off load a u-haul trailer from our truck and our jack wasn't working. He helped us by loaning us his jack. The house was spotless and there was everything you needed inside. I needed a pair of scissors and I opened up the desk drawer and there they were. The fresh eggs were certainly a bonus. Beautiful county home in a peaceful area. We will keep the house in mind when we come to visit our son in Eugene.
