2 bedroom and a den, 2 bath condo in the Plaza, with indoor and outdoor pool and oceanfront view

Plaza 1011 The Plaza Condominium offers indoor, outdoor & kiddie pools, whirlpool, sauna, oceanfront lounge, and during the summer, an outdoor bar & grill.
This condo can sleep your family of 8. It features a king in the master, 1 double bed and a pyramid bunk (single over double) in bedroom 2 and a daybed with a trundle in the den. Guest must provide sheets, towels, soaps and paper products. There is a washer and dryer in the condo for your convenience. An optional linen package is available for purchase for this property and would be delivered to the condo on your day of arrival and picked up on your day of departure. The package would include sheet sets for each bed and towel sets equaling the maximum occupancy of the condo.
Non-smoking, Non-vaping. No pets, please. Property rents Saturday-Saturday.
Plaza charges a $80 cash non-refundable building registration fee upon arrival (April 1st to October 6th). This fee covers 2 cars for the week.
Property owner does not permit group rentals to guests under the age of 25.

Unit needs some TLC

Overall we enjoyed our stay here. The unit was a really good price because it needs some updating. The kitchen was well appointed. There's a huge empty pantry for guests to use. The living room furniture and screen door need replacing and the ice maker didn't work. Wouldn't consider the den to be a viable third bedroom/sleeping area because the AC unit is next to this room. It's extremely loud, making it impossible to sleep with the unit cycling on and off. Loved the live music. It sounds good with the balcony door open. The pool and spa are lovely.

We enjoyed the area as it was the first time we came to Ocean City. The disappointment came around as the tiki bar was closed, the outdoor pool area was closed as well as many attractions not open for the season. Had we been aware of the season issues, we would have come later in the year.

Very good and economical place for a family getaway

Four of us stayed here during the second week of October. We were a bit nervous when we read some of the reviews, but found the unit more than met our needs and wants. The living room furniture could use a little upgrade, but were adequate. The other amenities (cable and internet) should meet anyone;s needs. The beds were very comfortable, the condo's pools (indoor and outdoor) were nice and well kept, and the beach area was just a short distance away. Views to the ocean are excellent. All in all, we were very satisfied for the money.

Not what I expected!

This property had a leaking pipe and a leaking washing machine while we stayed. The owner of the property never fixed the issue until Thursday of our week. We had 2 separate plumbers come to look at the issues before it was addressed. Once we contacted the owner about a partial refund. He was not willing to refund us partially for the issues . we had to clean up 3 inches of water every few hours because of the leaking pipes. There also was no working coffee pot. I had to go buy one for the unit, and the cabinets had doors off the hinges. The unit needs maintenance. And there was food splattered down the living room walls and cabinets. The unit needs deep cleaned. The pull out bed in the den is 2 pieces and no way to attach the two it’s advertised as a queen it’s really a double twin trundle bed. The couches are beat up and very uncomfortable. I would not rent this unit again. We stay in the plaza every year And never have a issue like this. this unit is not worth the money.

Great trip!

Beautiful property. Very clean. Was lovely to listen to the live music from the balcony at night and wake up to the sounds of the waves in the morning. We can’t wait to come back next year!

Unforeseen Circumstances

The place was great and clean in the main areas. There was an issue with the toilet and it was promptly handled which was awesome. Luckily they made the call to The Plaza because an issue came to light that the water was going to be shut off for 2 days during what was supposed to be the Second Week of our stay (which the management and owner were never told about). The property management group was very accommodating and refunded the second week of booking because we ended our stay early. Would love to stay there again!!!

Had a great time!

The location was amazing, I watched the sunrise every morning from the balcony. The proximity of the ocean was just right. The pools were warm and nice and the on site restaurant had very good food! I would have liked to know that the den was almost a bedroom, but the front door to the condo opened to it. It worked fine for us but good to know. The second bedroom has a pyramid bunk and a double (just FYI, because I wasn’t sure from the listing). Great place for a family vacation - thanks for having us!
