About the host
Hosted by Charles Reneau

I am a retired (MSG) disabled Army veteran, and my wife is a schoolteacher. I'm originally from Alabama and my wife is from Honduras. We have been married for 40 years and together have 3 children and 10 grandchildren. We enjoy growing our food and like sharing the fruits of our labor with our guests. We have never been farmers, so this is a new adventure for us.
Why they chose this property
The farm is very close to all of the outdoor activities in the area and is less than 1 mile from Interstate 20. It's also one of the flattest areas in the valley for farming.
What makes this property unique
We have intentionally focused on berry and herb operations (blueberry, blackberry, muscadines, and lavender) and raising the only native goat to the United States, the TN Fainting Goat. This goat is on the endangered species list, and we want to do our part in trying to increase the numbers and educate the public about this wonderful animal.
