Authentic mountain chalet surrounded by forest. Private location off a quiet road, 3 miles to Stratton Sun Bowl (a 7-minute drive). Spectacular mountain view & large lawn. Swimming hole at brook on property. Fire pit, propane BBQ, picnic table. Front & back porches w/ hammock, table & chairs. VCR/DVD & videos, boardgames & puzzles, kids toys, turntable & records, Satellite Internet & WiFi 20-100 mbps, TV & Roku. Gas heat, wood stove, pellet stove. Dog friendly (sorry, no cats due to allergies).

This charming country chalet has a spectacular views of Stratton mountain. There is a mountain brook with a swimming hole located on the property.
House amenities include:

Glad you enjoyed the chalet. Sorry the super low freezing temps froze a pipe overnight. When we arrived to clean the heat was off - we got the water running again in a few hours by turning up the heat in the house.

I also run a non-profit organization called Toilets for People which makes composting toilets and trains people in developing countries how to make them using local materials and labor.
