Beech Mountain Place, formerly known as Beech Side Chalet, is the perfect destination for enjoying the slopes year-round. Located just 0.3 miles from Beech Mountain Resort, it's only a 5-minute walk or a 2-minute drive to partake in winter snow activities or summer mountain biking. You will have access to a variety of outdoor activities on Beech Mountain and in the village, including mountain biking, hiking, walking, fishing, sledding, and more. The charming mountain town of Banner Elk is about five miles away, featuring open-air markets, craft fairs, great shops and restaurants, fun parks, and more. Boone and Blowing Rock are both approximately twenty-five miles away. Seven Devils, about 15 miles away, offers Otter Falls trails and Hawksnest Resort, which offers snow tubing and zip lining. The village of Valle Crucis features an incredible riverfront community park and the renowned Original Mast General Store, dating back to the mid-1800s. Grandfather Mountain is less than fifteen miles away, while Sugar Mountain is around ten miles away. You can also find the Elk, New, and Watauga Rivers nearby! Just a few miles away on the backside of Beech Mountain is Buckeye Lake and Recreation Center, open to the public for fishing, canoeing, paddle boating, and more. The recreation center offers a variety of activities, including sports fields and indoor and outdoor basketball courts.
The main level of Beech Mountain Place boasts a stunning view of the surrounding area through its wall of windows. The cozy living room, complete with reclining leather furniture, is inviting, centered around a stacked-stone gas fireplace and a large-screen TV with live and streaming options. The living room seamlessly connects to a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. Guests will surely enjoy the main-floor deck, which offers breathtaking views and fresh mountain air, along with a gas grill and outdoor dining and seating.
This level includes two bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king bed, a TV, and an ensuite bathroom. The guest bedroom also features a king bed, a TV, and in-room access to the main floor Jack-and-Jill bathroom.
The lower level includes an open space with hooks and benches, ideal for storing gear, shoes, and coats, as well as a fully equipped second kitchen. This lower-level bedroom, in conjunction with the kitchen, forms a second living area that accommodates five guests: it has a king bed, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, and a queen futon. The room has a large-screen TV, games, and books, and the lower-level deck offers a covered porch swing, seating, and a cornhole game.

During the winter months (October to March), we strongly recommend 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicles, as chains may be necessary in snowy or icy conditions.

This place is amazing! The view is gorgeous and we actually walked down for lunch one day after skiing. So convenient!! They had everything we needed to cook with, the heaters worked great on cold nights and we had plenty of room for our whole family. I would definitely stay here again! The price was great for where we were located too!!

We are so grateful for your feedback and are thrilled that you enjoyed the home and that your stay was a great one. We are so looking forward to welcoming you back again soon!
We came for the slopes. Easy 5 minute walk to Beech Mountain Village. Nice heated foyer/mud room for storing & changing in & out of snow gear. Comfortable mountain home.
This home was even better than depicted in the photos. The views are stunning! The house felt cozy, comfortable and relaxing. It could easily accommodate 3 couples and children. The kitchen was well stocked and the linens luxurious. It was decorated nicely with comfortable furnishings. I just wish it had a bathtub. Regardless I look forward to many return trips.
Had a wonderful time with family at this cozy, comfortable mountain home. The kitchen was amazingly supplied with anything and everything you need for cooking. The porch was a dream with serene Mountain Views. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. There is a washer/dryer and extra kitchenette on the lower level for extra storage.
We are so grateful for your business and the feedback. Its our sincerest hope to welcome you again to our home in the very near future.
