Family-friendly vacation destination at America's Greatest Family Resort. Our home is on the main road and in the heart of it all! You will be staying on the 2nd floor ("Apt 2") and have personal access to the rooftop deck!
We provide you a fully furnished, hi-tech house complete with FIOS 150mbs wired internet & FREE WI-FI, four 1080p flat screen TVs in each room, Comcast digital preferred cable, digital door locks for safety, a full pack-n-play with infant/newborn crib insert & changing table, 8 beach tags, 8 beach chairs, an umbrella, and a hair dryer. Our rooftop deck is accessible via a beautiful spiral staircase and is great for amazing views, watching fireworks, the sunset, or sunbathing.

The beds we offer is a Queen, a Full Over Full Bunk, a Futon Bunk (double/twin), and a Sofa Bed. Plenty of pillows and softy fluffy comforters. However for sanitary reasons YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN linens, pillows, bath/beach towels, toilet paper, soaps, toiletries, food, and any other beach accessories.
**We do provide the option of LINEN RENTALS for $80 and it covers delivery of beach-themed linens & towels/rags. Covers all 6 beds & 12 pillows as well as a laundry bag for easy pick-up by our crew after check out. Please let us know at time of booking if this is a service you need. :)**

We have a small yet functional laundry room complete with washer, dryer, ironing station, and drying rack should any of your belongings need to be laundered during your stay. We provide a free tide pod and a dryer sheet for your use.

We are pet friendly and will allow a maximum of two (2) pets and there will be an extra cleaning fee associated with bringing the pets. Renter will be 100% responsible for the actions of their pets. Our cleaning crew has special ultraviolet tools to help make sure the place is 100% clean for non pet renters with allergies. Our property is small can accommodate no more than 2 dogs so please do not ask about bringing 3, the answer is NO.

Non-smoking property: Smoking & vaping allowed only outside in designated areas. This is a dry town so you will need to bring your own alcohol. Circle liquors though is right over the bridge. lol

Our location can't be beat! We are about 6 blocks from the beach & Gillians Wonderland Pier. A boardwalk with tons of rides, eateries, mini-golf, the famous music pier, famous Johnson's Popcorn, etc. We're about 3-5 blocks from the Acme, TD bank, McDonalds, Dunkin Donuts, Bayview Marina & Jet skis, tennis courts, and a playground. A skate park for the kiddies is on the corner. A mere 2 blocks from the house is the Asbury Ave Shopping District which offers good old-fashioned style shopping, boutiques, food establishments, the farmers market, and other goodies. For a more modern shopping experience head over the bridge to Somers Point with their outlets and shopping just 10 minutes away! Ten blocks up the main road we have Wawa, Rite Aid, Wells Fargo, and Piccini's Restaurant (as featured on Food Network's "Diners, Drive-ins, & Dives"). You can practically bike anywhere! Via the Garden State Parkway we are 15 minutes from Atlantic City & Sea Isle City, 20 minutes from Wildwood & Avalon, and 35 minutes from Cape May: Historic area, Shopping District, Zoo, & the CM/Lewes Ferry! Attractions around the Jersey Shore for you to enjoy while here (that require some driving) are Lucy the Elephant in Margate approx 8 minutes away, Historic Towne of Smithville about 30 minutes away, and the ever fun Storybook Land on Black Horse Pike!!

Everything of home but at the beach

We had a wonderful week stay. Everything is detailed & organized. You’ll never need anything because its there. You are close to Asbury for shopping. Close to Acme if you need anything. Close to the beach or the bay! Best of all perfect for pets. My Labrador loved the house. The owners Mike & Debbie will respond promptly and are VERY understanding & accommodating. We will happily return.

Just okay

This place was okay, fine for a short stay, but there were some definite safety concerns that could be easily addressed and stressed us out with young kids. The doors are run on a code system but there is no way to lock them (dead bolt, etc) from the inside which is worrisome. The tiles near the fridge and door are broken which isn’t safe for little ones crawling, and the door does not meet the ground, leaving a large gap. Additionally the yard had some concerns. There is a large knife in a planter on the walkway to the back door and the back yard has a lot of trash from the other tenants that had a strong smell when we first arrived. Inside was clean and fine for the stay.

So Bad We Left Early

As seasoned time-share and vacation rental users, we were highly dissatisfied with the condition of this property. I will give a few objective examples (of which I have photos): -In most places the exterior decking is completely worn to the point that the nail heads are above the level of the wood. Absolutely a hazard. -Some of the kitchen drawers and cabinets do not work well properly due to bad rollers or broken/loose hinges. -The carpets in the dining room and living room are dirty with some staining. -The front and rear doors do not close easily and must be jammed shut -Even with the rear door shut there is air gap almost completely around the perimeter -The front storm door has no latch and cannot shut properly -The toilet seat is so old that the staining has discolored it. -The bathmat is filthy and worn. -The fan in the bathroom did not function. With several adults using one tiny bathroom and no way to open the window, this was unpleasant, at best. -There is an old broken heater in the wall of the bathroom. Besides being an eye sore and dirty, is a hazard to small children. -Unlike the pictures shown, the upper deck furniture was in very poor condition. One lounge has mold stains. The other had a badly torn cushion, and the sofa rotted at the frame. -There is no beach caddy available even though advertised as such. There was nothing “historic” about this place. It needs serious upgrading/renovation. The interior is cluttered with dingy furniture and knick-knacks.

Had a great stay at this property. The owners were very responsive and communicative. It was a little tight for our family of 7 sharing one bathroom, but we knew it would be going into it. Everything was as described and parking was always available right out front. The two decks are great spots to hangout. It was nice that beach tags were included. The beach chairs, boogey boards and beach caddy were very helpful. Thank you for a great family vacation experience!

Perfect For Golf in NJ

The property was exactly as advertised & had just about everything you need. The spiral staircase, would make this harder for the elderly but for in shape adults and kids, you'll love it. Plus the property managers are extremely prompt in returning questions. Look at the pictures, and if you like what you see you'll love this place.

Short stay over Labor Day weekend

Very comfortable and very clean. All dishes, glasses and cooking supplies were abundant and in great condition. We were not aware of the narrow, circular steps going to our second floor unit. This was very hard on us all, especially me at 70 and difficult to carry suitcases and food. It was unfortunate that this home was right next door to a house that was condemned and in sad disrepair. Still we enjoyed our brief getaway. I live in Texas now but still believe wholeheartedly that there is no place on earth like the Jersey shore!!!

Firstly we loved that this was a pet friendly house! When We walked it we noticed it was very CLEAN !! It was very comfortable for 6/8 people. The pull out couch was a nice bonus! We loved the two balconies outside and that it was on a quite side of town.. which was very peaceful. The organization for everything in the house was very helpful with labels all over the house so you know where everything goes back. It was a great week in OCNJ, boardwalk was a 10minute walk and there’s a school where we would walk the dog too , she seemed to like very much. We enjoyed are stay and would recommend it to anyone.. and the owners are a friendly couple who truly cares about the little details! They also responded within minutes with any questions we had! Great stay!!

Lovely little place, good for a small, laid-back group.

We went on a group vacation (three couples) and this was just the perfect size for us. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils and supplies, and we had no issues with the wi-fi. The walk to the beach and boardwalk is direct, though a bit long if you have anyone who doesn't like walking. The house was very easy to get to, and there was never any issue finding parking in front of the house. The video games were awesome to have around. Everything went very well, and we had a great time!

Easy to get too from causeway. Well kept and had all we needed. Loved the breeze on front porch and upper deck. If planning on days at beach, a bit of a walk with kids but public parking available. A nice addition might be a parking pass. Overall we enjoyed our time with 3 generations of family!

We had a great week staying here, kids loved the bunk room with smart tv, and the whole family enjoyed some of the retro gaming options. Place was comfortable despite a very hot week between overhead fan & AC options. Hosts were very quick with communications, the booking process & checkin were all nice and simple. Great getaway

Stayed here for a short getaway to OCNJ. Communication with owners was outstanding throughout the process. Property has a great beach vibe and two nice decks to enjoy the refreshing shore air and breezes. Easy walk to the beach and boardwalk as well as downtown shopping.

We had a family of 6 stay at the Sandcrab estates and the apartment was just perfect for our needs. A 10-15 minute walk from the nicest beach and the best part of the Boardwalk in Ocean City made it extremely convenient to go to al the activities but also duck back home for a quick shower or respite from the sun. The property itself was lovingly maintained and so well organized. Communication with the owners was first rate - they were very detailed in their expectations and instructions on everything were clearly marked. We were able to text with Debbie and she would respond immediately. We have several VRBO stays under our belt and we can say by far this was the easiest and most well-organized property we have experienced. We loved our stay and would not hesitate to return!

They answered call quickly but were unhelpful resolving the issue (alarm went off for about 40 minutes). We eventually had to call fire station. Would not return.

Why they chose this property

My wife and I purchased the home October of 2015. It was in need of a few repairs, some minor touch-ups, and had a lot of untapped potential. We have put a lot of love & hard-work into fixing it up and making it the beauty you see today. We are still making improvements in the off season to make your vacation stay even better year after year! Recently we have acquired the first first and opening it up to rentals this year so if you have a large family and wish to book both floors for a total of 6 beds 2 full baths that can sleep 12? Please let us know in advance as we are renting the floors separately and availability will be limited. Cost is the same per floor so whatever you paying up top you will pay for the bottom as well.

Our last acquisition had been a 4 bed 2 bath chalet in the Poconos near Camelback & Kalahari that sleeps 12! This property books all year round. Feel free to inquire within if our beach property is booked at the time you want to stay as our Pocono property near the community beach is available!

What makes this property unique

First off......*** FREE WIFI *** This works great with the dedicated workstation we have set up so you can not only enjoy your stay but not miss that important Zoom meeting was scheduled last minute. Plugs outside mean you can work on the decks as well.
Plus, from the rooftop deck you can see the sunset over the bay, Gillians Wonderland pier ferris wheel, and fireworks (if any), and the lights of Atlantic City!

Families with young children or pets will enjoy the front & back decks as they now have child safety gates with locks to prevent both little ones and furbabies from running away!

Also, if you are traveling with little ones there is no need for you to lug that heavy crib with you as we provide a safe Graco Pack-N-Play Nursery Center complete with diaper & bottle storage, a musical mobile w/nightlight, folding canopy, and an infant crib insert. We also have a traveling foldable highchair for use as well as a plastic baby/infant bathtub. :) In need of more items but don't wish to pack them or bring them on a plane?? No worries! We love recommending BabyQuip who offers clean, sanitized, and safe baby gear. We are not affiliated with them but have used these services many times when we travel out of state with our two kids and it was AMAZING!! After booking, the link will be in the welcome email so you can contact them and make a reservation.

Finally, should your trip accidentally get rained out or plans changed and you choose to stay in? Worry Not! We have plenty of DVDs for various ages and genres. Not into watching TV? Play one of our many games provided. We provide plenty of board games, card games, etc. The mini video gaming consoles preloaded with a bunch of games are always a hit. Fun for the whole family!!
