**Beach Front** Ramp & Private Walkover with 5 Bdrms *ADA wide doors*

Making Memories is a newer 5 bedroom 3 bathroom beachfront house that was remodeled in 2020. The house is located right on the beach with a large deck and a private walk over directly off the deck just steps away from the water in Surfside Beach. The stress melts away as you climb the stairs or ramp and hear the sound of the waves! The private beach walkover directly from the front porch we had built, keeps you out of the dunes where rattle snakes have been known to inhabit. It is in the private Velasco Shores Subdivision that is right next to Stahlman. This is a little gem on the island since it’s the only private HOA neighborhood with mostly full time neighbors.

The house has many windows and offers amazing beach views from anywhere in the living area along with beach views in the master bedroom and bedroom #4 (queen with jack/jill bathroom). It has wonderful finishes throughout and is designed with large groups in mind. The house offers 10’ high ceilings throughout with a cathedral ceiling in the living room, dining room, and kitchen area. There is wainscoating in the hallway and 8' high doors throughout the house.

The fully stocked kitchen is a chef’s dream and is designed with entertaining in mind! It has plenty of room to move around, stainless steel appliances, large french door refrigerator, fully stocked, tons of counter and cabinet space, and a large 8’ granite island that seats 5-7 people. The kitchen is open to the dining room and living room area so you can still be part of the group while you cook. There is also a 7 ft farmhouse trestle table with seating for up to 12 people. The living room has a large 70 inch flat screen TV, Blueray/DVD player, stereo with IPod Dock, and games. It is the perfect place to stay while working from home or for home schooling. The house has Comcast High Speed internet on the X1 Xfinity platform which is perfect for multiple computers or devices.

There is a large 10’x40’ covered porch to escape the sun and a 12'x27' uncovered deck to enjoy the beautiful views and sound of the waves. Comfy sectional, teak high table, and 8 Adirondack chairs are on the decks/patio for your relaxation and enjoyment. A private walk over allows easy access from the deck directly to the beach. Under the house there is a shower with hot water for washing the sand off and plenty of parking both on the concrete under the house and in the large driveway. There is a weber gas grill on the deck. Under the house is a picnic table, swing and 2 Adirondack chairs. There is also a ramp that makes it much easier to bring your luggage, coolers, etc. up to the house. The ramp is wheelchair accessible but it is steeper than ADA standards. Guests with wheelchairs have commented that the ramp is accessible for wheelchairs.

The house has five bedrooms with 11 beds which provide plenty of room to spread out. The house comfortably sleeps 16 people. All bedrooms have 32' TVs with access to tons of movies through free Netflix and amazon prime free movies. Bedroom #5 has a king size bed and attached bathroom. This bathroom has a vessel sink & granite countertop and a 4' shower. Bedrooms 3 and 4 both have newer thicker pillow top queen beds which are slightly higher because of the thickness of the mattresses. There is a step stool if needed for the height. These bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bathroom with granite countertop, dual sinks, linen closet, and a shower. Bedrooms 1 and 2 are bunkrooms but also have full size beds so they can be easily used for sleeping adults. Bedroom 2 has a full bed along with 2 sets of twin bunk beds. Bedroom 1 has a newer pillow top full bed and a twin bunk bed. The hallway bathroom has ADA wide door and has bathtub/shower This bathroom is located right across the hall from Bedrooms 1 and 2.

Surfside Beach is about an hour south of Houston. There are endless possibilities for fun regardless of the season. The house is located within the quirky quiet village of Surfside Beach Limits. There is a paved trail for hiking, biking, and golf carts along Bluewater Highway that leads right to town. Making Memories is located in the Velasco Shores private neighborhood which consists of 9 homes. It is a very closely knit community with wonderful neighbors. The neighborhood has mostly full time owner occupied properties, so it is the perfect place for peace and quiet on the beach. It is located across the street from the public crabbing pier and fishing is everywhere. You can fish in the surf, in the bay, off a pier, or deep sea with a charter boat.
