My husband and I along with our daughter from California were in SLC to visit our granddaughter; stayed 5 nights. I'm having problems writing this review not that there were glaring problems - will mention a few things that bothered us although they wouldn't necessarily bother others, but will start with what was good. Location very good - easy drive from/to the airport, easy to get around town. Even with the very busy pizza joint next door very quiet. Living room was comfortable; the modern kitchen had everything necessary to prepare meals. Refrigerator does not have an ice maker nor ice trays so bagged ice is required if you want an iced drink. We and our daughter slept well, although our daughter found the upstairs cold. Co- host Jason told us about the 'nest' which we finally found on the 3rd day; I guess is a type of thermostat but it was locked and we didn't have a code to reset the temperture. The binder that probably had information was missing. She also said the windows were drafty/noisy when a cold front blew in. The upstairs bathroom is attached to one of the bedrooms so I don't think it would be an ideal situation for 3 couples. The downstairs bath is off the kitchen not the bedroom. Front yard nothing but weeds, chain link fence in disrepair, sitting on porch in comfortable rockers was not pleasant for me. Use care entering through the back door; bit dangerous due to the steep stairs going to basement. A misstep would send you down even with little gate.

We had a wonderful time at this charming rental. It has a vintage vibe with a modern twist. The house was cozy and comfortable for our family of five. It had everything we needed. It was close to downtown, where we spent the majority of our time. It was easy to come and go from. We would for sure stay here again if we find ourselves in SLC again.

Comfortable place to hangout in SLC

Very Pleasant living room and well equipped kitchen. Good AC in a very hot week. Renters should know that access to the upstairs bathroom is through another bedroom. Two quibbles: yard is a wreck and double mattress in one upstairs bedroom could only accommodate one as it rolled down to a middle valley from each side. Manager was very accessible and great at working thru issues. Would stay here again. But only with 5 people.

Patrick's place was amazing. I love historic houses, so to see a lot of those details still there but upgraded in all the important areas is amazing. It is clean and it is super easy to communicate with Patrick. I would recommend 10/10.

Very convenient to coffee shops, great pizza place right next door; the capitol and Temple Square are a quick drive or moderate walk.
