Just a short walk to the lake, and a short drive to watercraft rental and sandy beaches, this is the perfect getaway!

Sleeps 25 in Beds, 6 Bedrooms, 5 bathrooms

The 6th bedroom and the theater room are combined. The theater room has two queen sofa sleepers with a privacy door from the living room.

TOTAL BEDS: 3 Kings, 3 Queens, 3 Queen sofa sleepers, 1 Bunk bed Twin/Double, 2 Bunk beds Twin/Twin.

Maximum occupancy 26, Ages 3 and under not included in total. Events/reunions with more than 26 people cannot be accommodated. Additional guests beyond the 26 overnight guests are not allowed, even if it is just for a temporary daytime visit.

This is an allergy friendly property, so leave your pets at home. Registered Service Dogs are only allowed with proof of ADA certified service animal forms - these must be provided to the owner in advance. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate ESAs.

Galilee Lodge features a custom-built log home (4300 sq. ft. of fun) with 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, with custom made and comfortable log furniture throughout the cabin. LEAVE YOUR COOKING SUPPLIES AND DISHES AT HOME because this large kitchen has everything you need! The beautiful granite countertops with a range in the island so you can visit with your family & friends and look at Bear Lake while preparing meals as a group.

The Theater room has a 100" screen, blu-ray player, reclining theater chairs, and surround sound speakers. The game room features a foosball table, table tennis, air hockey table, and a Wii video game station loaded with games for the whole family.

Galilee Lodge also has board games, a small loft area for kids to hang out, two quiet reading areas, and two spacious living rooms. The master suite features a large walk-in closet and a private deck entrance and an ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower with dual shower heads. Three of the upstairs bedrooms have their own private balcony.

All bedding, towels, etc. are provided. BRING YOUR OWN BEACH TOWELS. There are 2 washers and 3 dryers on site. To help you relax on your vacation the cabin has air conditioning/heating and Wi-Fi.

Outside: Galilee Lodge has a large deck looking out onto a panoramic view of Bear Lake with tables, chairs, loungers, and umbrellas. Weber BBQ grill for the outdoor cook. In the summer months, you can set up a volleyball/badminton set or corn hole. Have fun in the evenings with the fire pit to cook marshmallows and hot dogs (if the fire season allows). There is parking in the driveway and pull out.

Galilee Lodge is close to the walking path, 1/2 mile from downtown Garden City (be sure to grab the famous raspberry shakes!) and close to the lake. Pickleville Playhouse Theater, beach, boat marina, boats, jet-skis, four-wheeler & UTV, razors, scooters, bicycle rentals, horseback riding, golfing, rodeo, Minnetonka cave, fossil hunting, fishing pond, Bloomington Lake, and go-karts are all close to the cabin.

Inside or outside, rain or shine, Galilee Lodge is perfectly located, has plenty of space and activities to keep you, your family, and friends entertained.

Galilee Lodge has two exterior cameras for your safety and security one located on the front driveway with a view of the driveway entrance located over the garage door. The home also has a second camera located above the basement back door looking at the back yard access.

We love staying at this cabin. It’s always very clean, and the beds are very comfortable. There’s so much space to hang out (the movie room is the best). The kitchen has everything you need. Only complaint is the leaking faucet, but it’s not a huge deal.

Rustic

Very "cabin" feel. Pros: lots of beds, bathrooms, wonderful play rooms, movie room and outdoor play areas, 2 refrigerators . Great for families. Cons: couldn't use patio because of wasps and covered with debris, front step is hazard, leaky kitchen water faucet, no laundry soap provided, poor wifi. Overall with a few minor inconveniences, we had fun.

Hi Lois, sorry it wasn't able to meet your full expectations. Since we are in a rural area, we do get the challenges of wildlife which unfortunately does mean we can experience wasps. We do get regular pest control services and even requested an extra service while you were at the cabin after you mentioned your concerns. I am not sure what "debris" was on the deck that prevented you from using it, but there should not have been anything out there aside from patio furniture... There are always laundry soap pods kept in the upstairs bathroom that has the washers and dryers, so I am not sure why you were not able to locate them - they are kept on the top of the dryer. We definitely could have helped you locate them or had some brought over if we would have known you were not able to locate them. Again, as a rural area we do not have the greatest internet service, however it has never been an issue for others before and we personally have used it for many Zoom and business purposes without issue. We did complete the WiFi speed test on VRBO and those results have been posted and were available for you to see prior to your booking. We hope that in the future when you go out to experience a rural area you will be able to take in the wildlife and experience the beauty around you while you unwind and disconnect from the rest of the world.

This place held our family extremely well for our family reunion. We had 5 of our children & their families. Lots to do in the basement, air hockey, ping pong, theater room. Lots of games were provided & toys for little kids, too! The kids loved the fantastic pirate ship play house in the back & the slide off the house. Parking was a little tight especially since we had a trailer with toys. The only regret I have is we didn't stay long enough! Thank you for the beautiful place for us to gather as a family!

Fall family get-a-way

Very nice property, perfect for our large family, clean, comfortable, everything we were looking for. Our family really joyed the pirate ship swing set, the game room and the movie room. Well appointed kitchen. Wonderful views of Bear Lake and close to everything. Host was great to work with, we highly recommend this cabin and would certainly stay here again.

We are a family of 5 who absolutely LOVE everything Bear Lake has to offer. Our dream of owning a majestic piece of property at Bear Lake came true and we want to be able to share our cabin with other families so they can enjoy Bear Lake just like we do.

Why they chose this property

We get the best of both worlds- Panoramic lake views and the secluded feeling that only a log cabin can provide. Plus being so close to all the amenities was a major bonus.
