Story is a hidden gem in Bighorn Mountains, an easy 25 min drive from Sheridan or Buffalo. Hardly out of the way if you are heading by on Highway 90. The town, population 903, is convenient to mountain climbing, fishing, horseback riding, swimming, and hiking trails, as well as several historical sites. Hosted by Paul McNiel
The Wagon Box in the small town of Story, Wyoming is the place to get away from the din of The Machine. With lodging, a library, restaurant, tavern, and café, all within earshot of rushing streams, and 20 beautiful acres near national forest trails, you can rest, read, write, fish, explore, and meet other escapees or any of the local characters. We host thoughtful events throughout the year for members and guests. We look forward to hosting you in our lodging, at our events, and our restaurant.
