Stay on the top floor at the perfect location on quiet Sunset Beach in Treasure Island. The view is fantastic!

The kitchen is fully equipped, the pool is heated year-round, there are beachfront BBQ grills, plenty of open parking, on-site coin operated laundry, and a wonderful relaxed atmosphere to melt away your troubles.

Please note:

-- Sunset Chateau is a non-smoking resort. There are smoking areas nearby in the garage area, but smoking is not allowed in any part of the building (including the balconies).

-- Due to damage from the hurricanes of late 2024, the pool at this location is not in service at this time.

Our stay at this condo was very disappointing. The unit was very dirty and had a strong old, musty smell from the moment we arrived. The kitchen was in poor condition — drawers were dirty, the dishwasher was filthy, and the stove had old food stuck to it. Overall, everything felt worn out and not properly cleaned.Storage was another major issue. The closets were cluttered with the owner’s items, leaving almost no space for guests. There were only about five hangers, so we had to keep our clothes in our luggage for the entire 9-day stay, which was extremely inconvenient.The bathroom was also outdated and poorly maintained. The bathtub was dirty, with peeling paint, rust, and visible mold — definitely not acceptable.While the location and beach are beautiful, the amenities did not match expectations. There were only three beach chairs and no umbrella provided. Although beach towels were available, they were stained, so we ended up buying our own.It’s especially frustrating because there are many updated and well-maintained condos in this same building, so be very careful when booking. I also noticed a previous review mentioning similar issues, and it seems nothing has been addressed.Overall, I would not recommend this condo and would not stay here again.

This 1 bedroom on the beach is perfect for 2 adults. Really good location. Walking distance to a couple bars, restaurants. Grocery store only about a mile away. I'll stay here again.

There were no shops or restaurants nearby (within 3/4 miles or less)Beach view was exceptional!Damage to a chair back that was not attached and had dangerous nails sticking out. This caused an injury before we saw the damage and moved the chair.The unit was not clean. All drawers in the kitchen were dirty and we had to wipe out the cabinets we intended to use.There was a large black spider in the towels in the bathroom.There was an excessive amount of clutter in the kitchen cabinets and closets. i.e. duplicate items that take up space so there was insufficient room for renters to store food and other essential items that we brought with us.There was insufficient lighting. New fixtures with brighter bulbs would help.TV in the bedroom required a maintenance visit to make it work. Also for guests that are not familiar with robo TV it is not easy to use the two sets in the unit without some instruction.The elevator key was not behind the door so we did a search for it and found out by calling that the email about the check in procedures had not been updated.

Ideal beachfront property

Beautiful little place with a stunning view of the beach! Easy to check in, walkable to a few nice places to dine and drink while enjoying the sunsets. When we called a minor issue to the attention of the management, it was addressed promptly. We would definitely stay here again!
