This charming country cabin is a great place for a get-a-way. Located just South of Johnson Lake State Park, it is the perfect headquarters for either trout fishing on the lake or for a guided trip down the nearby Kasilof or Kenai River for Salmon. The bathroom has a shower rather than a tub. The cabin has a full kitchen. All basic utensils are available. In addition, the makings of a Deluxe Continental Breakfast and provided. Typically, this includes coffee or tea, yogurt, cereal and milk, pastry and juice. It is a one room cabin with an upstairs sleeping loft. The sleeping area has an alcove which would also accommodate a couple of small children. The stairs to the sleeping area is rather steep, especially at night to reach the bathroom. The front porch has a gas grill for your personal use as well.

This cabin was perfect for our trip. The owner is so nice and responsive. We were very comfortable and look forward to making it a yearly tradition for our family.
Sharon is very sweet and gives you privacy but is right there if you need her.
My dog loved the place, he had so much fun playing with all the sticks and the other dog that was there.
The fish shack has everything you need to clean and pack your fish. Very nice little set up.
I booked this little cabin in the woods for a weekend get away for my husband and I and our kiddo. It had everything we needed to be comfortable. Sharon our host was wonderful, and very responsive if we needed anything, she had a little mini fridge stocked with juice and yogurt for us and my kid loved the sleeping loft and didn’t want to leave. Sharon was so wonderful to let us bring our beagle mix with us as well and our dog loved sniffing around and going for walks down the road to the lake. The cabin is rustic, quaint, quiet and cozy and we will definitely look forward to staying again when we come to fish.
It is a cute cabin that needs some updates. Couch is extremely old an uncomfortable, essentially the only place to sit. Functional kitchen utensils would help also.
Owners were very nice, the place just needs a refresh.
Great place to lay your head and have a spot to cook for your family. Sharon was the ultimate host. Would highly recommend for families that are good with rustic but comfortable accommodations.
Super clean and cozy. Beds were very comfortable! Owners were super accommodating and friendly. They treated us like family, not visitors. Would definitely recommend this place and can’t wait to go back.
Stayed one night and really enjoyed the cabin. Its a great property with a convenient location to Kasilof and Kenai. I will definitely make another visit!
This was the perfect place to stay during our Alaska vacation. Sharon was a great hostess who offered anything and everything to make our stay great. I highly recommend staying at this cabin.
The property owners/managers were incredibly welcoming and professional during our stay, as well as friendly. They went out of their way when we accidentally booked one day less than we needed, going as far as to move their son out of a cabin so that we had somewhere to stay. They moved all of our things to the new cabin and cleaned. They were so nice with all communications with us. We were truly happy that we picked this location to stay. The cabin was all we needed and was clean with the refrigerator stocked with what we might need. This was a great experience for us!
