Excellent communication with the host and seamless check-in. Property was clean and good for our stay. Updated kitchen with supplies. Was what the pictures showed. Just a short walk down the drive to the beach and ocean. Just what you would expect from an Alaskan cabin.

Nice place right on the ocean with very helpful hosts. We used this as a base camp/ retreat while we were exploring the area. Easy check in check out. Kitchen had all the utensils we needed for cooking, and freezer to put our fish in!

We stayed to be near family and were delighted to see we were close enough to run into town but still remote enough to feel like we could avoid the summer crowd. We had rabbits running all over the yard, a moose friend that liked to visit the field of fireweed across from us and we walked down to the beach in the evenings to look for treasures!
Excellent communication from the owner. Property is very well supplied and excellent for anyone there for the fishing. View from the beach access path is amazing on a clear day. Cabin exterior is definitely rustic, but the inside is equipped with an excellent kitchen and furniture. Ceiling fans in the main living area and downstairs bedroom are nice to have. There is a full sized washer and dryer. The owner provided shower soap, shampoo, and body lotion. There is a jar with several detergent pods. The kitchen is well organized and supplied. In addition there is dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, spices, coffee, and coffee filters. There is a very nice French door refrigerator. In addition, there is a small chest freezer in the porch area. The water is apparently from a well and has a distinctive smell. The internet is most likely satellite based and isn’t high speed. The cabin is located about 10 miles from Soldotna, and only 10-15 minutes from the Kasilof River boat ramp. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 only due to the well water being a little different. We used bottled water. Don’t let the rustic exterior worry you. The inside is great. We didn’t use the upper floor, but there were two more beds upstairs. I would stay here again.
