This home was perfect for our group of 10 college friends! The living room and 3-season room were spacious enough to accommodate us all. The house was well stocked, the beds were comfortable, and the host communicated often and responded quickly to our needs. The fire pit, sauna, and hot tub were a hit! The property is well taken care of and close to the trails, Marina Complex, and Owners’ Club for easy access. The guests frequently commented how much fun they had at our girls’ getaway and this property played a part in making our stay enjoyable.

Between the activities at the house and the passes to the Owners' Club, there was lots to do for everyone, from the toddler in our party to the Grandma. There was plenty of room for us to do things as a whole group or to spread out when we wanted some privacy. The bedrooms and bathrooms were generous in size and the beds were comfortable. In spite of the warm weather, some of us used the hot tub in the evenings and reported that it was great. Also, in spite of the warm weather, I had a wonderful time listening to the birds and reading in the screened-in porch area. We tried the popcorn machine for a movie night and that was a great success. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay at this property! The only thing I wished a few times was that downtown Galena was a few minutes closer.

Galena weekend

We had a great experience at this house! The host was very responsive and the amenities were wonderful. Lots to do in the area. Hiking, biking, winery, walks, fires, hot tubing and more.

Great Location

The place was in a great location. Not to far away from downtown Galena. The house was very nice! Definitely a lot of things to do at the house, I definitely recommend. Hope to come back at this property.

This home has it all! Comfort, activity, and great proximity to all the fun Galena has to offer! The younger one’s enjoyed the game room, the kitchen had plenty of room for cooking and congregating with the family! The hot tub and sauna were also a nice touch! We look forward to staying here again! Also, Danielle was an excellent host and extremely responsive to any questions we had! Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Everything was great! Very nice house, hot tub, amenities are all working perfectly fine and kids loved it. The only thing I’d change would be adding a little more “homie-ness” and be less hotel-like. Thank you for the moments!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. The house was well appointed and the attention to detail was awesome. We were a 3 generation family vacationing together and the house was perfect for us Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. We loved the screened in porch and we loved that the table was big enough for family meals together. The amenity center was resort quality and we loved the hot tub at the house. We have rented many vacation home and this by far was the best. We would highly recommend this home.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed. Couldn’t get firepit going which was disappointing. Grill needs a major cleaning or replacement. A few handyman items but loved the game and it is a beautiful property.

The house was well appointed, but not cluttered, which was great because we had small children in our group. The game room was completely functional, which kept our older kids busy. There was plenty of room for all of us to gather in different spaces. A lovely home!
