😠 Our booking was cancelled by owner 24 hours before our arrival!!

Deeply disappointing experience!! Less than 24 hours before our arrival the owner cancelled our booking!! An explanation was only given after we emailed asking what was happening! Needless to say, our trip was in peril ... we were faced with needing to frantically find last-minute accommodation for our 8-night vacation in Los Angeles! We spent hours looking for another place to stay, the evening before our actual departure -- stressful and infuriating to say the least! The owner claimed the cancellation was due to a "pest issue" -- very dubious reason, given that the accommodations are *brand new*. Words of wisdom: book with caution! ⚠️
