About this property
The Cub House at Eagles Nest - views, hot tub, pool table
Welcome to The Cub House at Eagles Nest, a beautifully designed mountain retreat less than 10 minutes from downtown Banner Elk. This home blends rustic charm with modern comfort, offering sweeping views and thoughtful spaces for relaxation and gathering.
The living room is the heart of the home, featuring a stunning stone fireplace with a TV mounted above and an entire wall of windows that frame the breathtaking mountain scenery. Just steps away, the kitchen is well stocked and highlighted by a striking waterfall-style granite island with seating for three, while the dining table comfortably seats six for shared meals and conversation. Also on the main level is the primary king ensuite, complete with deck access, a smart TV, and ceiling fan. The spa-like bathroom includes a custom tiled shower and double granite vanities, providing a private retreat. A convenient half bath rounds out this level.
Upstairs, a loft opens to a game space with a pool table and a barrel table perfect for cards or board games. On either side, two spacious bedrooms each feature a queen bed, a twin bed with a twin trundle, smart TV, ceiling fan, and private ensuite bath—one with a tiled shower, the other with a tiled tub/shower combination.
Outdoor living is just as inviting, with a covered deck offering a fireplace, cozy seating, and additional chairs positioned to soak in the view. A hot tub adds the perfect touch for relaxation after a day of adventure. For evenings under the stars, follow the steps up the mountain at the front of the home to the beautiful fire pit, where unforgettable memories are waiting to be made.
