The house was great for our needs. It was about a 25-minute drive to Olympic valley for skiing. We comfortably slept 12 adults. The annex was cold when we arrived. However, the home had space heaters that heated the room to be very comfortable so everyone slept soundly. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals and the living room was very comfortable. It was a great place for our stay! The check-in process was seamless and communication with the property manager was very easy.
10 of us stayed for a few days for a friend’s birthday (and a surprise engagement). We used all the bedrooms. The layout is a little quirky, with some rooms not having complete privacy as you have to walk through them to get to the rest of the house. And one bathroom is also a hall (though there is a simple way to go outside and get around it). The host had let us know these things, so no surprise and no problem. We cooked a couple of meals a day and found the kitchen easy to use. The living room is upstairs and has beautiful views. As a review had suggested, we asked the host to turn up the heat in the jacuzzi, which was done. We could use it as soon as we wanted to. All in all, a great place for a group of friends. Quiet, easy to get to, and helpful host (with the tiny things we needed a bit of help with.)

Summer Stay
Our group came here for my husband’s 50th birthday. As others have said the layout is funky, but the owner messaged me about the layout before our stay. We had 6 adults and 5 kids with two bathrooms. One bathroom is a main access to 3 bedrooms, so at times it was a high traffic area. To access the hot tub and fireplace/pit you must go through one of the bedrooms. Those in the bedrooms off of the garage must walk through the bunk room to get to the bathroom and main house. Or they can go through the garage, then through the front door to gain main house access. Parking: One piece of advice-If you have more than two cars, talk to the owner first. Almost one entire side of the driveway has a boat trailer parked in it. We knew that we could not use one side of the garage, but did not know this meant that side of the driveway was also unavailable. More details about the trailer in the listing would have been helpful. We were a party of three families, each with their own vehicle. Two trucks and a car barely fit. We had to park one truck perpendicular to the boat trailer and the truck. The listing indicates 3-4 cars may fit. I would say 3 cars or two trucks and a car can fit.I’ve sent the owner a list of items our group believes should be addressed & taken care of to make future stays more enjoyable. We were not at the house much, so these issues did not affect our overall vacation.

Errors upon errors
Electronic guidebook and check in instructions felt efficient, but didn't execute well. Check in code provided was incorrect and wasn't notified until I called the property manager. The parking situation was misleading, saying 2 in the garage and 4 in the driveway. There's only room for 1 in the garage since the other is storage. The garage that can fit a car is manually operated so it felt less secure. The wifi was down the entire stay - assuming the wifi information in the guidebook was correct. A lot of light switches in the place did not work. The first night the hot tub did not get hot enough. It finally got up to temperature the next day but it's an amenity that is booked in mind to be ready to use when guests arrive. The layout of the place is also weird since access to the hot tub was through one of the bedrooms. The carpeted bathroom upstairs is odd and can't imagine it to be hygienic. The downstairs shower would also keep switching from hot to cold mid stream. There were no batteries for the TV so we couldn't watch TV either. One of the rooms with the double bunk beds was leaking water from the light and dripping onto the bed. we laid a sled against the bed to catch the water onto a towel lol.Overall this place looked great on the listing but fell short in execution. I really wish we could have enjoyed our stay more.
