This is my second time stayed at Caroline’s place. It’s the same beautiful and amazing place. We spent three nights and haven’t ran out all the fun activities at her place. We grilled, hiked, swam, chilled at hot tub, played board game, used game room, did karaoke, etc. The place is so clean and Caroline is so nice and thoughtful. For sure we will come back again!!

Nice getaway

The property was just as described. Very clean and comfortable. There was an issue with getting the code to check in but the owner bought us dinner for the delay. The home was surrounded by trees and fairly quiet except the man on his side by side that was tending the garden alot while we were outside, otherwise quiet and peaceful.

Wonderful family time

We traveled with our 2 adult kids with their significant others and 2 grandkids. The property is beautiful and spread out with lots of stuff to do or relax. The hot tub and pool are both amazing. The patio/ pool was a fabulous hangout where you can grill, swim, play board games. We played corhole in the yard. The downstairs has a game room the kiddos enjoyed! The house is just beautiful and had everything you need. If they don’t have it, then you don’t need it! Everything is well stocked so you don’t feel like you have to run out to the store for toilet paper or stuff like that. I’ve booked with quite a few properties and this is my favorite. We want to come back for another trip.

We are from Michigan but have lived out of state, only to come home to the best place in the US. We love the weather, the lakes and most of all - the PEOPLE! That’s why we enjoy sharing this special property with you - so you can enjoy some of our favorite places in Michigan. Where else can you ski, hunt, fish, and mountain bike and more is such a short radius! This house is super special to us. It has 200 ft of river frontage, a pool, hot tub, comfy beds and a great kitchen. We might be biased - but we couldn’t recommend any place over Wild River Lodge!

Why they chose this property

The proximity to town - yet has privacy and feels like you’re deep in the woods. It has a beautiful yard that welcomes the local the wild life and feels so peaceful. The pool, hot tub and river made it so special. it was love at first sight.

What makes this property unique

We are open year round, lots of room inside or out - but really makes us special is the relaxing environment of the wilderness, the trees, the quiet, even the rich wood tones of the home itself. Coming up here is a breath of fresh air. One of our renters said the “cabin is like a warm hug” - couldn’t agree more.

Dave and I are very hands on and love to help guests acclimate and feel at home as soon as possible. You’ll be greeted with a bottle of wine, coffees and a welcome book to help you settle in.
