Great communication and was ready at posted check in time. Approx 20 miles outside Vicksburg at Eagle Lake but doable drive for daily outings to the sites.

Lots of space in this property. It is about a half hour from Vicksburg and close to a lake. Very quiet.

Stayed for fish camp

Came to fish Eagle Lake and it was perfect for what we needed. Had covered area to keep boat under during rain. Facilities served our purpose well.

We were somewhat disappointed overall. There were 26 pics on the website of the property-only one was the exterior, a shot of the deck, and nowhere was it mentioned that the property is a single-wide trailer with an attached (crooked) shack as the 4th bedroom and 3rd bathroom. Even some of the previous reviews stated that this was a "house".We did enjoy our stay, the property had lots of space and it kept us cool and out of the weather but cleanliness was an issue. Some pans were put away with food on them and the exterior and the deck, particularly the rafters joining the deck with the trailer roof were covered in cobwebs and debris. There are loose plumbing fixtures in the bathrooms and a mildewed ( and much too long) shower curtain. I thought the price was high for a well-weathered trailer with cleanliness issues.That being said, all five of us said they had a good time and slept well. I just think it needs some work.

Great Stay

We enjoyed our stay at Rachel's Place. The house is spacious and the porch was great for hanging out. The beds were comfortable and we had what we needed. There was even a gas grill outside on the porch for us to use. We did not fish on Eagle lake, we were actually in the area fishing the Mississippi river. So it was a bit of a drive into town, but we didn't mind that. Everyone we met was extremely nice and responsive during our stay.

Nice to have enough bedrooms for each one of us. 2 bathrooms with bedrooms and another hallway bedroom was very convenient. The only downside was the WiFi was very slow, and maintaining a TV stream connection was difficult. Also a bit far from Vicksburg but we made it work.
