Very clean, well equipped. The pool and hot tub were closed which was disappointing since the hot tub was a big part of the reason i boled here, however the owner did bring a pass or another property, bit it was 10 min away and very crowded. She had very quick communication. Woild reccomend to anyone!

Great hospitality

Thank you for a lovely place to stay during our work conference. The condo was easy to access, and directions were easy to follow. The condo was updated, the beds were comfortable, and we had no noise. I highly recommend staying here if you need a place to relax.

Beautiful little place

We really enjoyed staying here. Only problem we had with the internet went out and we were not able to get it back for 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. We just played more board games. Very nice little escape.

Perfect space

This was affordable, clean, adorable, and everything we could have asked for! We have family on Torch but had a family wedding, so decided to get a place to rent for extra room. This place was amazing. 10/10 recommend!!!

Another Great Stay

We stayed here last year and liked being here so much that we returned again this year. Nice cozy, quiet condo, the back patio overlooks the pond and golf course. Equipped with everything you might need. Liked the upgraded front door lock, much easier to deal with. Hopefully we can come back again next year.

Clean, neat condo... Perfect for a couples getaway.

Right on the golf course and 10 minutes from Bellaire. Schuss Village was a ghost town in the summer, so plan to find entertainment elsewhere. The condo itself was super clean and cozy... No complaints.

The unit was beautiful, cozy and relaxing!

We were looking for a quiet place to relax, and this was it. Incredibly clean, perfectly decorated, and surrounded by nature. Plus a wonderful bed, and thick knitted throws everywhere. And with the help of our host's description of the surrounding area, we were able to find several hidden gems, like fresh waygu steaks at a smokehouse with an alley-only entrance. Hopefully, we'll find a way to sneak away again soon! Four thumbs up!!!

Good location, but compact and musty

The host communicated well and offered details for finding the location. The condo is located on a golf course and the area is nice. This is a small space and I would definitely not recommend for more than two adults. Everything appeared clean with the exception of the window A/C unit. When we opened the door it was very musty, at first we thought it was just humid. Once we got inside it was clear that the smell was mold related. Looking around the condo we didn’t see evidence of mold. Peeking into the A/C unit duct was wet dark mold. Not a ton visible but the smell was incredibly strong. The A/C unit is near the front entry and air circulation in the condo was poor as there is no central fan/vebts. The bedroom was at least 10 degrees higher than the room next to it with the A/C unit. Also, the WiFi router was unplugged so there was no wireless. Not a big deal, just plugged it in. Less tech savvy people may have needed assistance. We wouldn’t revisit this location. If the mold is remediated, this would be 3-4ish stars in my opinion.

Excellent stay! Condo had everything we needed and bed was comfortable. We had a relaxing weekend away! Enjoyed morning walks up the mountain, fishing and boating during the day and dinner out in Bellaire! Connie was a great host to work with.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. It was a very quiet location, 10 minutes from the town of Bellaire (highly recommend Shorts Brewery and Mammoth!) and 15 minutes from Torch Lake. We loved sitting on either the porch or the patio. The kitchen had everything we needed. Would stay here again!

CK Schuss Mountain Condo Rentals LLC has grown from one condo to now 16 condos in Schuss Village near Bellaire Michigan. Our area has something to do year round. Winter, skiing both downhill and cross country, dog sledding, tubing. Summer has endless fun things to do. Golf, boating, biking, hiking, shopping, wine tasting, canoeing and kayaking. A major attraction is Shorts Brewery in Bellaire. The quaint town of Bellaire is 6miles away. 15 minutes away you can spend the day on Torch Lake and stop at the Dockside restaurant for dinner.

Why they chose this property

Use this condo as a hub and take day trips to Traverse City, Petoskey, sleeping Bear Dunes. Bring your boat. We are close to Torch Lake and Chain of Lakes.
All of our condos are professionally cleaned between guests.
