Anniversary getaway

Had a wonderful time. Very relaxing sitting on the deck watching and listening to the waves roll in. Full moon over the water was beautiful. Stairs gave us a little trouble because of our age but once at the top it was great.

Location on the beach and property were both fantastic. I don’t know if it was this weekend only because there was a truck show down a mile or so, but loud trucks blaring music up and down the beach ALL NIGHT made it next to impossible to sleep. The house is at the “turn around” on the “drag” and the trucks spinning out and the loud music was NOT pleasant. Not the owner or property’s fault but definitely need to be aware that sleep is in short order here!

Thank you for the 5‑star review! Glad Sand To Sea’s beachfront location and property were fantastic. I’m sorry the truck show and late-night noise made it hard to sleep — unfortunately events like that are outside the property’s control. We appreciate the feedback and will note the possibility of nearby events for future guests. We’d love to host you again. — Bolivar Vacations

The worst experience ever! House smelled so bad like urine!! A/c was dripping from the stained ceiling, and the water smelled extremely bad! But the worst was the urine stained bed they wanted you to sleep in was beyond gross! We had to leave!! Could not stay in such an unsanitary place! Would never ask someone to sleep in a urine stained bed !!

Thank you for staying at Sand To Sea. We are very sorry your stay was unacceptable and that you had to leave. The issues you described—odor, stained bedding, an AC leak, and water quality—are not acceptable. We have already dispatched our housekeeping and maintenance teams to investigate and address these concerns, including a deep clean and inspection of the AC and water systems. Please message us through your Vrbo reservation with any additional details so we can document and resolve everything. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and apologize again for your experience. — Bolivar Vacations
