About this property

Hot Tub Runs Year Round!

In town for a wedding, mountain biking, or just an Okanagan mountain getaway? This is the perfect place. It’s less than a 5 minute walk to Silver Star Village and has parking for 4 cars.
There are a total of 10 beds/futons so it can accommodate multiple families or large groups if necessary.
The kitchen is spacious and well equipped and there is a BBQ outside. Natural light floods in from the huge windows from the living room’s vaulted ceiling. The 6 person hot tub is located right outside these windows and there is a great view of the mountainside. The living room, dining room and kitchen are one long great room with a large rustic wood table that seats 8. The eating bar with 4 stools is located right next to the table.
The décor in the living room is modern, with leather a leather couch and love seat as well as a comfy armchair in the corner. If it gets chilly at night, there is a cozy gas fireplace to warm you up.

Security or Damage Deposit

A refundable security/damage deposit of 400 CAD is due 30 days prior to arrival.
Deposit is for damage, parking infractions, damage due to animals and quiet time infractions.
When warranted, the deposit (or portion thereof) is refunded within 5 days of departure., Long term rentals may be subject to a larger deposit.

The unit has a well equipped kitchen and the place is so clean. This is the third year that we have spent our annual family ski weekend. Our host Gary allows our dog to come and was even able to accommodate a last minute change of days for us.

Great getaway!

Great place for our family group of 10. Well outfitted kitchen and barbeque were perfect for preparing large meals. Short walk to the amenities of the village and hikes right out the back door. Silverstar is a great spot if you want to stay put in one area and chill while staying out of the craziness going on down in the valley in the summer. Would book again!

This is the second year we have stayed here for a skiing weekend. This chalet is very well maintained, has a great hot tub, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It is one of the best ski in/out locations at SS and close to the tube park and skating rink. It is also very clean.

Summer biking adventure

Plenty of space for our family of four and appreciated finding a pet friendly option so that the family dog could tag along. Location was near the village and we were able to bike right back to the property at the end of the day. Kitchen had everything we could need including a sticked spice cabinet. Would stay again.

A great week of biking at the mountian. The accommodation were perfect. Plenty of room for everyone 10 adults 2 dogs. The kitchen was large and fully equipped. One thing our group really liked was how close it was to the village. We were able to stop and have lunch at cabin and go back to riding in no time. I would highly recommend and would definitely book again.

Nice, spacious home near the slopes. Although close to the access road, fairly quiet. Check in instructions were clear. Some minor maintenance issues (faucet in one of the bathrooms wasn’t working, one of the room doors didn’t close) but nothing part serious.

Great location and layout!

We came up to SilverStar for some early season Nordic skiing with our 3.5 year old and 2 dogs. We loved the open concept of the kitchen, dining and living room. And there is a washer and dryer, which was so nice to be able to use! It was great to be able to walk out the back door and up to the multi-use/ski trail. We could’ve walked into the village but chose to drive with the young one. Plenty of towels, blankets, and pillows. There are games, puzzles, movies, and a few toys. Super fast internet. Kitchen is well stocked. Easy checkin/out and quick communication with the owner. We will definitely come again!

Silver star pad

We really enjoyed this place and found it very accommodating with lots of space for a group of friends and family in a super accessible location. It exceeded our expectations generally. Our only suggestions would be to insider to upgrade the queen foam mattresses in bunk bed room (better for adults) and to include a diagram of the key pad to clarify entry code instructions. Overall very good and we had an amazing experience at Silverstar and Sovereign Lakes. Thank you
