This lovely oceanfront home is at Mile Marker 85 in exclusive Angler's Reef - 52 homes . Quaint streets & walking paths wind through this village-styled retreat. Enjoy a drink in the lushly landscaped pool area overlooking the ocean or on the 500' of stunning private beach. Protected deep water marina (slip available at additional cost) with a deep channel out to the Atlantic. Single and Tandem Kayaks as well as Stand Up Paddleboards available for your use. Launch kayak from the private beach and try your luck at Islamorada's famed bone fishing in the flats right out front. Brand new in 2008, this home is fully equipped. Tile showers, Stainless appliances, granite kitchen counters, 3 Flat Screen TVs, & more!

Islamorada is the 'The Fishing Capital of the World' Great fishing in the gulf or ocean side. There are plenty of guides you can hook up with, as well as 'head boats' where you can walk on for a reasonable cost and fish the reef (just a few miles offshore). Bring your own boat or charter with a guide.Try your luck fishing right out front for bonefish, permit & barracuda on the flats. Or check out the mangroves for snapper and snook. Enjoy the views of the turquoise waters; swim in the large heated pool or just relax in the surrounding lush garden area overlooking the Atlantic; take a quiet stroll through the complex; take in some sun on the private beach. Restaurants: a short walk north is Hog Heaven (a night spot) and the Island Grill; a few miles south is upscale Pierre's on the Gulf and the more casual Islamorada Fishery next door (both are next to Worldwide Sportsman for fishing tackle, clothing, and a large indoor aquarium); also a few miles south is Holiday Isle, the Green Turtle Inn & many more eateries. Some other favorites are Ziggys and Maddogs, Morada Bay, Marker 88 and the famous Cheeca Lodge.Attractions: Theater of the Sea is about 1/2 mile south. Founders Park is just a mile or two north. Keys Vacation!

Angler’s Reef is lovely! Our place was great and close to everything. We have been coming to Islamorada for 22 years and have stayed in various places. The owner’s were responsive and very nice to work with! We will be back next year!

Great location!

This is the best location we have stayed at in Islamorada. The community was safe and quiet, plenty to do right on site with swimming, private beach, kayaks and paddleboards, fishing off dock. We saw manatees most days in the marina. The house is exactly as listed, the owners were quick to respond and fix any issues we had. Would definitely rent again!

Great location but overdue for refresh

Anglers Reef is a great development close to many amenities and wonderful restaurants. We’ve stayed in several units and will do so again next year. Besides some housekeeping maintenance improvements, the big issue was the guest room King pillow top mattress collapsing in the middle. After contacting the owners, who advised us to flip the mattress upside down, anyone who stayed in the King still complained about the rolling into the middle due to the collapsing

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our week long stay. The home was very clean & comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need & there was even a basket of beach towels near the front door. The outdoor space in the back was quiet & private. We felt very at home. The community was beautiful.

Amazing Stay in Angler’s Reef

Beautiful location! We were very comfortable in this house. This was our 3rd year staying at Angler’s Reef. It’s an amazing stay for families. Our son fishes all day and catches about every 10-15 minutes. All of the vacationing kids got to know each other and had a great time. Islamorada is a hidden gem!

Islamorada Stay

We loved our vacation stay in the keys. The property was wonderful. It was clean, relaxed and felt like home for the week. The property is located close to shopping, restaurants and has all the outdoor activities for everyone in your party. Would highly recommend and visit again!

Winter Vacation

We loved staying here to escape the cold winters. The house is everything we expected and was just perfect for the 2 of us. The owner was very helpful in any requests we had. The kitchen is fully furnished and loved having the outdoor grill. We will definitely be back next year!

Angler’s Reef is an awesome property for a hassle free vacation. The location of this house was great. Just steps away from the pool and the beach. House has fully stocked kitchen. Heard back right away from homeowner when we had a question about the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location!

Angler’s Reef is a very nice community! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed for our vacation. The pool deck got a little busy but a great spot to relax. The use of the dock for our boat was a huge plus.

Clean and cozy!

The house was the perfect size for our group. There were 5 adults who were very comfortable in the space. I like that Chris put the 2 double beds into the larger room. Each bedroom had a private bath which was a pleasant surprise. We love Anglers Reef and have already booked our trip for next year with extended family!

Wonderful and relaxing week in Paradise

We cannot thank Christopher and Connie Boyle enough for a wonderful and relaxing vacation week. From the moment we drove through the gates of Anglers Reef, we felt like we were in Paradise. The community is beautifully landscaped and the home is impeccably clean and comfortable. We felt like we were in Downtown Disney with all of the charm , but none of the commercialism. Check-in and check-out was clear and details of the home were incredible. The homeowners were available when needed and left the home perfect for a week-long stay. We traveled as a family and our children said it was the best rental we have ever had. We ate many meals in the home and the kitchen was well-stocked with cookware and bakeware, ready to enjoy. The community was a combination of yearlong residents and other families renting for a week or more. Everyone was lovely, welcoming and hospitable. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed everything about Anglers Reef and would love to come back. We thank the Boyles for making everything perfect and ready to enjoy!

Two weeks in a warmer climate

My husband and I enjoyed a mid-January respite from the northern snow and cold in this lovely home. I'm a bit of a clean freak so can honestly say that this house was SUPER CLEAN! The furniture is attractive and comfortable - we only used the king bed in the front bedroom but assume the two beds in the back are just as comfy. Anglers Reef attracts a variety of folks from retirees to young families with children and was pretty quiet while we were there. We did not make use of the kayaks (too windy) but there are many at your disposal - just be sure to sign the waiver before your trip. Owners were great to communicate with and the house had all the basics one would need for a comfortable stay. This unit does not have bikes, (we have family there so borrowed theirs), but there are places that rent and deliver, and there are good bike baths up and down the islands. We did not use the grill or back porch so cannot attest to either amenity, (and the back of the house is adjacent to the highway so the daytime traffic noise is unavoidable), but we enjoyed being a short stroll from the heated pool or beach - neither was ever crowded, though the pool was more-so than the beach. Wish we had stayed longer, my tan is starting to fade and it's still cold at home!

Grew up and currently live outside Philadelphia Pa. Always enjoyed going to the Jersey shore for vacation and spend allot of time in Avalon NJ. Love being on the water and all the activities such as boating, fishing, snorkeling, wave running, and enjoy fine dining as well.

Why they chose this property

We chose Islamorada for many reasons. First, it is truly tropical and has the blue waters you only see on the islands. The fishing is best in the world. The waterfront dining is wonderful and it has many activities for all ages. It is close to Key West if you want to get a little crazy and pretty easy access from Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Being from the North we wanted to extend our summers and where better to do that than in the Florida Keys.

What makes this property unique

The benefits of the Anglers Reef Community and what really makes this property unique are as follows; It offers single home living, no condo, no elevators, quiet true single family home. It has private beaches. Beaches are sometimes hard to come by in the Keys, but this has a very nice well maintained beach that offers relaxation as well as kayak launching, fishing and exploring. The community also has a resort style heated pool that has incredible ocean views, and there are private boat docks as well. In our very long and detailed house search, we did not find anything that even came close to the amenities offered at this community
