This lovely oceanfront home is at Mile Marker 85 in exclusive Angler's Reef - 52 homes . Quaint streets & walking paths wind through this village-styled retreat. Enjoy a drink in the lushly landscaped pool area overlooking the ocean or on the 500' of stunning private beach. Protected deep water marina (slip available at additional cost) with a deep channel out to the Atlantic. Single and Tandem Kayaks as well as Stand Up Paddleboards available for your use. Launch kayak from the private beach and try your luck at Islamorada's famed bone fishing in the flats right out front. Brand new in 2008, this home is fully equipped. Tile showers, Stainless appliances, granite kitchen counters, 3 Flat Screen TVs, & more!

Islamorada is the 'The Fishing Capital of the World' Great fishing in the gulf or ocean side. There are plenty of guides you can hook up with, as well as 'head boats' where you can walk on for a reasonable cost and fish the reef (just a few miles offshore). Bring your own boat or charter with a guide.Try your luck fishing right out front for bonefish, permit & barracuda on the flats. Or check out the mangroves for snapper and snook. Enjoy the views of the turquoise waters; swim in the large heated pool or just relax in the surrounding lush garden area overlooking the Atlantic; take a quiet stroll through the complex; take in some sun on the private beach. Restaurants: a short walk north is Hog Heaven (a night spot) and the Island Grill; a few miles south is upscale Pierre's on the Gulf and the more casual Islamorada Fishery next door (both are next to Worldwide Sportsman for fishing tackle, clothing, and a large indoor aquarium); also a few miles south is Holiday Isle, the Green Turtle Inn & many more eateries. Some other favorites are Ziggys and Maddogs, Morada Bay, Marker 88 and the famous Cheeca Lodge.Attractions: Theater of the Sea is about 1/2 mile south. Founders Park is just a mile or two north. Great location!

This is the best location we have stayed at in Islamorada. The community was safe and quiet, plenty to do right on site with swimming, private beach, kayaks and paddleboards, fishing off dock. We saw manatees most days in the marina. The house is exactly as listed, the owners were quick to respond and fix any issues we had. Would definitely rent again!

Amazing Stay in Angler’s Reef

Beautiful location! We were very comfortable in this house. This was our 3rd year staying at Angler’s Reef. It’s an amazing stay for families. Our son fishes all day and catches about every 10-15 minutes. All of the vacationing kids got to know each other and had a great time. Islamorada is a hidden gem!

Angler’s Reef is an awesome property for a hassle free vacation. The location of this house was great. Just steps away from the pool and the beach. House has fully stocked kitchen. Heard back right away from homeowner when we had a question about the property. We would definitely stay here again.

Winter Vacation

We loved staying here to escape the cold winters. The house is everything we expected and was just perfect for the 2 of us. The owner was very helpful in any requests we had. The kitchen is fully furnished and loved having the outdoor grill. We will definitely be back next year!

Great place, just as pictured. Was clean, quiet and my family loved it. Cool community, great pool and boat slips were nice & well-equipped. However, please note-all places do not have a boat slip, so reach out to your host and make sure yours does or you need to pay extra for one. Also, your boat has to be launched elsewhere, and there is nowhere to park boat trailers on site. So that must be reserved and rented elsewhere as well...we did not find that out until the last minute, but luckily, we were able to find a spot. We would definitely stay at this place again though-just giving everyone a heads up.

Great Family Vacation Spot

Nice home and great location. My family of 5 stayed 7 nights and we did not want to leave. Gated community felt secure and the grounds are very well kept. I would highly recommend this place for a family vacation. Fishing and lobstering just feet from the front door. The owner Chris is available to help with anything you may need, the house is well stocked and maintained. We will be back next year.

Beautiful home for vacation

Spent a wonderful week in Islamorada escaping the snow up north. The home is very clean and has everything you would need to make you comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped. Anglers Reef is just beautiful! The pool and grounds are immaculate. Great restaurants nearby. Our favorite for food, atmosphere, and sunset was Islamorada Fish Company. We also enjoyed eating outside at the Island Grill. Lorelai is fun and fast with food (also good for sunset pictures).

Great location, great house. Definitely recommend.

We stayed in July 2018 as two couples and had a great time. It's a lovely house in a charming little community. Common area pool and small beach are both just a few 100 feet from the house. We went out daily from the beach by kayak to fish on some flats that were just a couple hundred meters off shore (and at lease one of us caught a bone fish!). Easy access to restaurants, state parks and a range of marina's to rent boats etc. Chris the owner was very responsive throughout our stay. We would definitely recommend it and would stay again.

Awesome house!

We absolutely loved our stay at #102 Anglers Reef! Lots of living space downstairs (which is great with 2 small kiddos), large TVs in all rooms, and both bedrooms are a great size! Our only complaint is the Queen mattress in the upstairs bedroom caves in in the middle- you would roll right to the middle when sharing the bed. Anglers Reef is a beautiful property! The pool, beach and boat docks are all beautiful! We will definitely be returning next summer!

Great location but overdue for refresh

Anglers Reef is a great development close to many amenities and wonderful restaurants. We’ve stayed in several units and will do so again next year. Besides some housekeeping maintenance improvements, the big issue was the guest room King pillow top mattress collapsing in the middle. After contacting the owners, who advised us to flip the mattress upside down, anyone who stayed in the King still complained about the rolling into the middle due to the collapsing

Beeeutiful. Great location. Property is well maintained easy walking distance to the beach and pool. Pool area was great could use a few more umbrellas for shade. Home very clean. Chris very accommodating. Could use a Pyrex dish or two in kitchen. We cooked all our meals. Access to extra gas for grill needed-ran out of gas the last nigh there. Can be rather noisy in the evening and early morning from traffic on the main highway. Will definitely be back. Great week. Thanks

Thanks for the nice review. We will get a couple pyrex dishes as recommended. As far as the gas tank, we do our best to keep it filled, but for safety reason do not store an extra tank. we do also provide a nice stand up fan that is very good at providing white noise to block out any morning noise. Our community does not sit right on the highway, we are separated by a service road that also help with the noise.

Grew up and currently live outside Philadelphia Pa. Always enjoyed going to the Jersey shore for vacation and spend allot of time in Avalon NJ. Love being on the water and all the activities such as boating, fishing, snorkeling, wave running, and enjoy fine dining as well.

Why they chose this property

We chose Islamorada for many reasons. First, it is truly tropical and has the blue waters you only see on the islands. The fishing is best in the world. The waterfront dining is wonderful and it has many activities for all ages. It is close to Key West if you want to get a little crazy and pretty easy access from Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Being from the North we wanted to extend our summers and where better to do that than in the Florida Keys.

What makes this property unique

The benefits of the Anglers Reef Community and what really makes this property unique are as follows; It offers single home living, no condo, no elevators, quiet true single family home. It has private beaches. Beaches are sometimes hard to come by in the Keys, but this has a very nice well maintained beach that offers relaxation as well as kayak launching, fishing and exploring. The community also has a resort style heated pool that has incredible ocean views, and there are private boat docks as well. In our very long and detailed house search, we did not find anything that even came close to the amenities offered at this community
