Located in sunny Carolina Beach, this gorgeous oceanfront property , features a beautiful, heated, saltwater pool that lights up at night, private beach access with shower that are exclusive to the two units of the duplex and shared by the guests of both units - perfect for your family vacation! The owners use this property throughout the year so it is upscale with all the comforts of home.

Permanent Waves has 5 bedrooms with 4 1/2 baths, water views from nearly every room that can accommodate 13 guests comfortably and in style with BRAND NEW, allergy friendly, luxury vinyl plank flooring in all of the bedrooms and adjacent hallways. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and the table and 2 bars provide seating for up to 14 with additional seating for 4 on the oceanfront porch. Wireless internet is available throughout the unit. Each bedroom and the main living room enjoy Smart TV's with premium cable packages and Blu-ray players. A Bluetooth CD player is available, Blu-rays, DVDs, books, games and puzzles for all ages are at your fingertips.

Bedroom 1 is on the 3rd floor and features a king bed, vaulted ceiling, large bathroom with jetted tub and tiled shower, desk for work/study, and large oceanfront balcony with porch swing. Bedroom 2 is located on the 3rd floor and has a king bed, large bathroom, and beautiful views of the Intracoastal Waterway. Bedroom 3 is located oceanfront on the 1st floor with a queen bed, full bath and seating available on the oceanside porch. Bedroom 4 is located on the 1st floor Intracoastal Waterway side and has a queen over queen set of bunk beds. It shares a full bath with Bedroom 5, which has a twin over twin set of bunk beds and a twin trundle.

Exclusive to this unit are a private, outdoor hot & cold shower, propane gas grill and adjacent outdoor table and chairs, multiple boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a beach cart, sand toys and pool floats.

During your stay you will receive a curated welcome basket with paper towels, napkins, laundry pods, dryer sheets, dishwasher pods, dishwashing liquid, sponge and other goodies to help make your stay more enjoyable.

This is a beautiful house with amazing views . It has all the comforts of home. The owners are very gracious with the provisions and it is immaculate! The elevator is a much appreciated feature and parking was not really a problem for us. We had 3 large SUVs and 1 large Truck. We 100% recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in Carolina Beach. 1312 was lovely and perfect for our family.

Carolina Beach is known for its shallow ocean bottom with traditionally gentle waves, abundant activities including surfing, shelling, fishing, boating and hiking, This area of Pleasure Island is a playground for visitors of all ages who can’t get enough of the sand, salt and sun. The family friendly beach has 20 lifeguard stands to cover 3 miles of shoreline in the summer season. Freeman Park, a great place to observe wildlife, dunes and majestic seagrass, has one of the few beaches in NC that permits 4-wheel drive vehicles onto the beach. The North Pier, a cherished landmark that provides food, drinks and entertainment for all ages, is within walking distance of the beach house. The Boardwalk, less than 1 mile from the house, is ranked one of the top 10 boardwalks in the country by Food and Wine, featuring shops, restaurants and nightlife. Masonboro Island is close by for shell seekers. Fort Fisher is only 10 minutes away where you can visit the NC Aquarium and the historic battlegrounds. Wilmington, only 20 minutes away, provides upscale shopping, dining, and historic tours. There is a coastal adventure around every turn in and around Pleasure Island. On the ocean side, Dolphin pods are a frequent siting due to the close proximity to the inlet. On the street-side, enjoyable past times include boat watching on the Waterway while capturing a stunning sunset. Just minutes away the North Pier and Freeman Park are perfect spots for those who like to fish, crab and rake for clams. And, right out the door, guests can relax/swim in the heated, salt water pool or stroll down the private walkway and put their toes in the sand for much needed beach time. An outside hot and cold shower make going back and forth to the beach even more fun, clean and easy.
