A lovely and spacious property
We arrived much later than expected due to flight delays, and Cristiano came to our rescue, finding us after we got lost and escorting us to this large, bright, and airy palazzo. The house is beautifully restored, keeping its antique feel while being comfortable and equipped with everything you need. We (two couples) were there for two weeks and enjoyed getting to know the charming town of Galatina. We had one unfortunate incident when a roof drain became clogged, causing a cascade of water from the roof into one of the living areas, but the cleaning crew came out immediately and made everything right in a short time. This accident could happen to anyone, and the quick response turned it from a potential disaster into an adventure.
Most tourists seem to visit this area for the beaches, but we were more interested in the towns, the castles, the art, the archaeology, etc. There are many easy day-trips from Galatina to fascinating spots (and we did an overnight trip to Andria to visit the Castel del Monte). Highly recommended for an off-season visit.
